LEGO Wii Games

Updated on August 18, 2014

All the fun of LEGO and Wii Combined!

Since the inception of the LEGO toy characters into the Wii lineup of games, they have been some of the most popular (and funny) games available for family entertainment. Often based on popular movie titles, such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones, these games feature LEGO characters and objects that can be made (or destroyed) from blocks.

With all the violent games on the market today, it's nice to know that there are Wii games out there that can be played by kids of all ages. LEGO has done a good job of keeping the action non-violent and have even gone so far as to keep the bad guys vaguely comical. It's good, clean fun with plenty of challenges and adventures to entertain the whole family.

LEGO Harry Potter

More Adventures in Hogwarts!

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 brings the action, adventure and fun of the first 4 stories in the Harry Potter catalog to the video game screen in the way only the LEGO franchise can. Featuring all your favorite characters and story environments, this game lets players play as the wizard of their choice, combining them piece by piece as is only possible in the LEGO franchise of games. Play options include single player story mode, free-play and two-player co-op.

LEGO Harry Potter:

Years 1-4

LEGO Harry Potter:

Years 5-7

"LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4" is by the far the finest Harry Potter video game to hit the shelves, possibly the best LEGO game. It gives us a new gameplay experience that we have not yet experienced in a Harry Potter video game and yet still harnesses that ability to captivate us. But, what I love the most about it is that it has allowed me to revisit that childhood I remember as a kid when such things existed. It will certainly keep Harry Potter fans on their feet as well while providing a vivid blast from the past for all of us who enjoyed the previous first four installments.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 builds upon the magical gameplay, lessons and potion-making skills learned in 'Years 1-4' to equip gamers with the tools necessary to challenge a host of new foes and some familiar ones.

LEGO Star Wars - The Original Lego Wii Game

Building on the success of both previous Lego Star Wars videogames, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one game for the first time ever. This game brings the action to the Nintendo Wii, with motion-sensitive inputs that give you exciting new ways to control your Lego Star Wars characters, while also adding new characters, new levels and new features.

The upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters for the first time, while also expanding its customization options well beyond those in Lego Star Wars II, for millions more possibilities. Levels from the original Lego Star Wars are revamped to meet the gameplay evolutions of Lego Star Wars II.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga - Nintendo Wii

"If you're a Star Wars fanatic and always wanted to know what it would feel like to be able to use the FORCE and slice up your enemies with a Light Sabor....this is a MUST HAVE!!! If you ever watched the Star Wars movies over and over as I have, had favorite characters and movie experiences that you felt you could never get enough of...this is the game for you! Lucas Arts has truly out-done themselves with Lego Star Wars...

The Wii controls really enable you to become a part of each character you become throught each level of the game. The fighting moves for each character all resemble the actions of the real characters in the movie....and believe it or feels amazing to use the force and pick up huge objects and wing them at your enemies or literally pick up your enemies until they explode under your grip. Just the sounds of waving around your light sabor in your own home while slicing up storm troppers was enough to get me to give this game a shot." - Customer Review

LEGO Indiana Jones Aventures

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere. With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

Of course, pop culture's most iconic archaeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games.

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures - Nintendo Wii

"This game holds true for following the path of all three original movies. The Lego movie scenes are pretty comical. The control for this game is pretty good, you just have to get used to it a little bit. There are plenty of secret items to be found as you play the levels. It gives you the ability to play any character you earned or bought after you complete that level." - Customer Review

"This game has entertained my kids for hours on end! One nice feature is that Indy never "dies" which keeps us all from getting too frustrated. The game was a little hard for my 5 year old at first, but he has caught on easily." - Customer Review

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is a comedic action/adventure game that combines the fun and creative construction of LEGO bricks with the wits, daring and non-stop action of one of cinema's most beloved adventure heroes. With a unique, tongue-in-cheek take on all the Indiana Jones films - including for the first time ever Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - LEGO Indiana Jones 2 follows Dr. Jones' escapades from the jungles of South America to the Peruvian Ruins and beyond.

Fans can experience the most authentic LEGO experience yet as they design and build their own game levels brick by brick. Players can even fuse their levels with the ones supplied in the game to create a custom experience like no other. In LEGO Indiana Jones 2, everyone can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments from the Indiana Jones movie series - or create their own.

"No games provide as much fun and ease of play as the Lego games. There are many challenges, but none of them require great gaming skills, so they are fit for the very young or the very old. 5 year olds play this game at our house and 70 year olds take whatever turn is available. Go Indiana Jones! - Customer Review

"Great graphics, tricky and sensitive movements. We think the graphics seem to have more depth than the first Indiana and we are enjoying playing. Crystal Skull is keeping us engaged! - Customer Review

LEGO Batman

Gotham City is in trouble, and Batman is coming to the rescue! The game has all the characteristics that made their other games great and adds something new. In Lego Batman you can be either the hero or the villain! In fact, to complete the game, you must play as both!

Take control of the Dynamic Duo, as you build, drive, swing, and fight your way through Gotham City capturing escaped villains and putting them back in Arkham Asylum where they belong. Battle against legendary villains including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman and more to keep the streets of Gotham clean. Then, for the first time, jump into the story from the other side and play as Batman's foes. Enjoy the power you wield as you spread chaos throughout the city.

Lego Batman - Nintendo Wii
Lego Batman - Nintendo Wii

"If you liked Lego Star Wars and/or Lego Indiana Jones, then you'll love Lego Batman! Lego Batman offers more play time as well as characters, each with its own special abilities and weaponry.

What's special about Lego Batman is that once you've completed all the chapters, you can also play the villians to get those additional prizes and points as well as free plays. Thus, enlongating the gaming experience with Lego Batman. " - Customer Review

"Following the pattern used in Star Wars Lego and Indiana Jones Lego, the Batman Lego game is entertaining and fun. Possibly the most fun comes from playing the levels over from the perspective of the bad guys. I've spent hours of bad guy smashing fun with this game." - Customer Review

LEGO Rock Band

LEGO Rock Band merges two of the most popular video game franchises to deliver a unique family-friendly music experience that will take tweens, teens, families and gamers of all ages on a wild journey to rock stardom in order to "Build a Band and Rock the Universe." Combining the authentic multiplayer music experience of Rock Band with the accessibility, customization and humor of LEGO games, LEGO Rock Band allows players to create their own unique rock star style and customize their own avatars, band members, roadies, and managers.

Lego Rock Band - Nintendo Wii

"This is a great game for the Wii for any kid that really enjoys to jam. It has around 400 songs to choose from and varying levels - fun for the entire family... Just make sure you get a guitar as it can be used for every song. Much better and cheaper then Rock Band!" - Customer Review

"We got this game for my Lego obsessed 8 and 6 year olds. Not only do they love it, but we play it as a family several nights a week. The songs are new and classics and are "kid-friendly". My kids have also started asking to learn to play guitar for real, which is great. It is easy to navigate with lots of fun customizations. We also like the Lego versions of popular signers. I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say! - Customer Review

"If you like the Bionicle universe like our son does, this is a rather cool and intriguing game for the NOVICE Wii Player. You're placed into a world where you can walk around, turn, alternate weapons/tools to blast clues left as Bionicle pieces. We have the Star Wars and Harry Potter game and really love them. Although this year they have been over taken by the Skylanders series. But they'll be back!!

Our whole family loves Lego Wii games. We started out with Star Wars, then Indiana Jones. It actually kicked off a desire for my kids to watch the movies that they had never seen. Now they not only love those movies but love Lego games even more. They have both read all the Harry Potter books and watched the movies. The games just bring the whole family together and continue the magic. We just began a long journey into the Marvel Movies,(Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America) ending in Avengers. I think an Avengers game is needed now, especially now that they have Marvel Lego sets.

I've only played Harry Potter so far, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I'm wondering, being a Star Trek fan, would someone be coming out with a Lego Star Trek game?? I mean, there is an abundance of stories to choose from: the original Star Trek, Star Trek the Next Generation (my favorite), Voyager, Deep Space 9, Enterprise.
