MEEP Tablet For Kid's

Updated on January 6, 2015

What do you get your kids when they have out grown the Leap Frog and are still too young for a full blown tablet? The MEEP, for kid's fits the bill, technology is moving so fast these days and kids are learnig at such an amazing speed.

Our grandson is 7 years old, and got a Meep last year for Christmas. I've watched him learn and have so much fun over the last year with his Meep.

The Meep is manufactured by Oregon Scientific Following are some specifications:

The Meep is an Andriod 4.0 Platform, this one has a 7" Vivid Touch Screen. Designed for kids, it has a rubber silicon sleeve to help protect it. The Meep is also pre loaded with kid safe Apps, and has parental control.

Here is what the Meep Android 4.0 can do:

Play kids safe preloaded games, read e-books, watch movies and videos or connect to your television. Listen to your favorite music, take photos, and videos to share with your friends. Instant messaging allows you to chat on line with family and friends

You can download more Apps and games form the Meep store. Parents you can easliy set the parental controls from any computer or mobile devise.

I'm by no means a technical expert on this subject. Sometimes I even have to have my grandson show me how to operate the DVD player when we want to watch a movie. I did watch our grandson learn and have so much fun with this over the last year, and that is why I recommend the Meep.
