In might and magic x legacy, the raiders have to embark on the third main quest of the game. This is the highwaymen quest. In this quest, the heroes must venture through shadow woods to the den of thieves and eliminate Luke, the head of the brigand company. This will guide the heroes on how to get to the den of thieves and then how to get through the den of thieves to finish off Luke and retrieve the mysterious book.

Before going onto the highwaymen quest, the heroes must prepare the following -

  • lots of mana potions for the magic users in the party
  • full supplies of rations
  • the heroes can only recruit one more hireling into their party, given that Rosalie is already in their party. It is suggested that that hireling be the cook from the goblin watchtower

Might and Magic X Legacy Get to Den of Thieves

This heroes must first get to the den of thieves. From the town, head west until the heroes reach Shadow Woods. Shadow Woods is filled with wolves. However, they should be no match for the heroes. Use a combination of spells, especially fire based spells and ranged attacks and the wolves will be decimated before they reach the heroes. Follow the one way path to reach the entrance of the den of thieves.

Might and Magic Legacy Den of Thieves First Level

The main aim of the raiders is to get past the first level of the den of thieves and get to the second level.

Once the heroes are in the den of thieves, go to the next openable room and get the rusty key. Then go south through to the corridors and find secret doors within and activate one of the levers within. This will open up one of the initially unopenable doors. In this way, the heroes can proceed to the next room and so on. The heroes will also need to collect the rusty key and the iron key.

Eventually, the heroes will reach a room where there is seemingly no way out. Search one of the walls for a secret opening. Get one of the party members to open it and proceed to level 2 of the den of thieves.

Might and Magic X Legacy Den of Thieves Second Level

The second level of the den of thieves is much easier than the first. Here, the heroes will reach a structured part of the building underground. Move around until the heroes reach a subterranean part of the den of thieves. This is a large cavernous area where there are lots of actions and battles against the brigands. The heroes will need to find a chest with a bronze key. Keep moving and defeating these low lives until the heroes reach Luke's headquarters.

Luke is surprisingly easy to defeat. Keep your distance and release firebolts after firebolts. Luke will be finished. Once Luke is defeated, go forth and let Rosalie collect the book.

Return to town and go the garrison to pick up the next main quest.
