Updated on February 2, 2015

Cool and Colorful Mini Kick Scooters - Fun Gifts for Young Children

Mini Kick Scooters are great toys to help a children develop their co-ordination and motor skills. Scooters are also great fun and can be adapted to grow with the child, and so last for years.

Designed for toddlers and preschoolers, the Mini Kick Scooter ticks all the boxes: fun, adaptable, easy to use, light-weight for you or the child to carry around, and available in a range of colors to suit all personalities.

The addition of the seat accessory and o-bar allows children as young as 12 months to use the scooter. I really encourage you to get a safety helmet, just in case, so I've included some helmets with great designs.

The photo, of the charming youngster enjoying the Mini Kick Scooter with added seat accessory, was cropped from a photo on Amazon. For more information, read on...

Seat & O-bar Accessory for Mini Micro 3-in-1 - extend the age range of the scooter, fantastic value!

The Mini Seat & O-bar accessories allow toddlers to surf the playroom floor. The attachments can be used progressively first as a ride-on, then as a small scooter, and later as a Mini Kick Scooter. - this provides a fantastic value. The seat attaches to a sturdy stem, with a rounded handle, that can be locked into the Mini Kick's three-wheeled deck. As the child grows becomes more co-ordinated, the seat can be removed for use with the O-bar handlebar, and eventually the plastic stem can be swapped for the traditional Mini Kick T-bar.

Seat use: 12 to 36 months

I remember having roller skates, but the scooters look like they'd be fun.
