Nintendo DS Games at teach different language

This is what I find amazing about Nintendo, they have these games that relieve stress like interactive cooking, sports and even educative games. Sometimes a gamer needs these kind of games to breakaway from the thrill of all the hardcore games. What I really liked about the games for the Nintendo DS are those "language games" where you can learn different kinds of language depending on the kind of game you have. It is not the type of game wherein you have a boss to defeat and get achievements for it. In fact, it's not really a game but more of like an education material. Nintendo DS language games teach you other languages in a fun and interactive way.

Learning a new language can be tedious. You would have to bury your face on dictionaries to check what a certain word mean. But anything becomes fun when you put it into a handheld console. It makes learning easier and gets you to be attentive to the lessons because the thought of studying a language in a gaming console makes you feel like you are not studying at all. It just feels like you are playing. I myself have a Japanese language learning game on my Nintendo DS Lite and I already know a couple of Japanese words.

Nintendo DS language games are perfect for killing time, well at least that is what I use it for. I am not really serious in learning a new language but knowing a simple word or phrase would be nice. Since the other screen of the Nintendo DS is touchscreen, the game also teaches you how to write different words in certain characters and believe me, it is not really that easy.

My Coach Language

The Famous My Coach Language Series

The My Coach series has a lot of tutorials aside from teaching different languages. There were also other language teaching materials for the Nintendo DS but they did not gain much good ratings and popularity compared to the My Coach Language series.

This language learning material is very interactive and allows connectivity to Wii. You can also socialize with your friends using the Wi-Fi connection system of the Nintendo DS and practice what you have learned with the game.

French fries? After a day or two of this game, french fries would not be the only French you know. Most people say that they find the French language to sound sexy. I don't know about that but if you are one of those who think that it is, then why not take the My French Coach course for a start? Pronunciation can be very tricky when in comes to the French language but with this game, they let you say the word back to the mic and the interactive tutor tells you if you got it right or not. Neat huh?

Among all the My Coach Language series, the My Japanese Coach is the most bought franchise. I would not be so surprised if almost all the Otaku out there have this copy for their Nintendo DS. Do you love anime, reading manga, eating Japanese food or are you merely in love with the Japanese culture? After playing this game, you will know more Japanese words and phrases more than just arigatou gozaimasu. I personally have this for my DS and I really enjoy it. Once you get the hang of it and you go to one of those grocery stores that houses Japanese goods, you will be thrilled to find yourself being able to read some Kanji from labels.

Ola! In the US, Spanish is the most spoken language next to English. Even contact centers have a separate support for Spanish clients. So it does help to know even just a little about this language. You might even get more fillings with your burrito if the waiter is impressed with your Spanish skills. The language may sound easy but it is actually harder than you think. But this game, My Spanish Coach makes learning basic Spanish a lot easier than you think.

What do you think of the My Coach Language series? Do you own one too? - Share your thoughts!
