Updated on July 25, 2013

Petrol radio control cars are the granddaddy of all remote controlled cars. You will be using the same unleaded gasoline that you fill up your car with at the local gas station. Combined with 2-stroke oil these are some of the fastest remove controlled cars available on the market.

Petrol radio control cars come in a scale of 1/15th so they are about a meter (3 feet) in length, much larger than either the nitro or electric RC cars.

These cars are not for beginners. You will need to have some experience with other remote controlled cars before you step up to this level. They are also more expensive than any of the other remote controlled cars. You can find them from $500 up to several thousands of dollars.

These radio control cars go a lot faster than the electric cars and will need more maintenance but in the end you will have a great deal of fun "driving" these beautiful and hot looking cars!

Gas Powered 4 Wheel Drive Monster Truck

Here is what one happy customer had to say about this petrol radio control car: " Runs very good out of the box and its fast for the size and weight of the vehicle. I've looked at the other brands of 1/5th scale vehicles and their twice the price as the Rampage XT but some come with a smaller motor. It runs good on all surfaces but on dirt and grass it really Rocks. I have a few friends that have Nitro RC trucks and they couldn't wait to see mine and they thought it was awesome. They liked the fact I could just go to any gas station to get fuel where they have to go to a hobby shop to get a 30 to 40 dollar a gallon nitro fuel."
