Pokemon HeartGold and Soulsilver!!!
Pokémon - An Intro
If you are new to the Pokémon series then I have two things to say to you. Firstly, you may want to carry on reading to get a decent knowledge of Pokémon, and secondly, where have you been the last 14 or so years! Pokémon is one of the most established creations ever. Owned by Nintendo and created by Satoshi Tajiri.
The main story of Pokémon is that you, the main character that the entire world revolves around, reach your 10th birthday. It is tradition that you receive your first Pokémon at this age so, naturally, you visit the Professor who just so happens to live next door. He then gives you one of three rare Pokémon, but not without a price. Often, you have to complete an errand for the Professor and it is after this errand that you can begin your journey. You and your partner Pokémon then walk around the 'region' defeating evil, obtaining Gym badges and trying to achieve the ultimate Pokémon fan goal, collecting all the Pokémon in the Pokédex (a device received at the same time as your Pokémon), which is quite hard now with the overall total topping 493 plus different forms of several Pokémon.
HeartGold and SoulSilver
Pokémon HeartGold(HG) and SoulSilver(SS) are the remakes of the second generation Pokemon games, Gold and Silver(which are the best ones ever made). This game sees you receiving a Pokémon from Professor Elm who, in turn, asks you to run an errand for him. When you get back you receive a call from Prof. Elm who tells you that his lab has been robbed. Just as you are walking back, you encounter a suspicious looking individual running from the general direction of the lab. You battle him and he tells you his plan. When you get back to the lab the Prof tells you that someone has stolen his Pokemon and that you may want to consider taking the Gym challenge to level up your Pokemon and meet many more. And so, your adventure begins...
With online features and online events already being released, this game is shaping up to be one of the best yet. The Pokéwalker, a nice little add on, comes with the game that lets you transfer Pokémon and take them around with you in a pedometer fashion. All in all this game is definatly the best one made so far, and will only leave you thinking of one thing, what could they think of next.
