This toy will cause the whole neighborhood to come out. All the kids in the neighborhood will go nuts over this toy! Everyone will want a turn from the toddlers to the 10 year-olds! Everyone will call this the coolest toy ever! Easy to assemble, safe for all ages, this will be a great toy under the tree this year.

Dune Racer from Power Wheels

Battery Powered Car

Out of the box, the first thing you notice is this toy car has a box steel frame. The Dune Racer is a serious toy. So serious, in fact, that the wheels even have directional treads. And the front wheels are helpfully marked "left" and "right". The rear wheels, which go on before the front wheels, have no such marking, and are not designed to ever come off of the axle after being installed.

Every kid wants wheels - they represent independence. Boys or girls, kids of all ages love to have toys they can drive which is one of the reasons why mobility toys always show up on the Santa wish list.

But with so many racers on the market, how's a parent to know which ones are durable and which ones their kids will enjoy the most? To help narrow down the decision, read the following review information about the Power Wheels Dune Racer from Fisher-Price.

First, this dune racer has something the other racers don't have and that's powerful traction. Your child won't end up spinning the wheels in a rut or stuck in a deep mud puddle anywhere while he's racing around in this smart and jazzy toy.

The frame is kid friendly and built strong enough to handle the bounce and jolts over the roughest (or smoothest) terrain. The dune racer is accented in chrome, which means to a kid, this spells out one sweet ride. Just take a look at those tires, too. They're rugged and they're big and they're meant to last. They'll take your kid anywhere he wants to go and get him there in no time.

Your child will be in top comfort in the Power Wheels Dune Racer from Fisher-Price seating area because it's designed to be open and roomy, easily seating the driver and the passenger.

It has seatbelts so your child can buckle up snuggly and for those long treks across the backyard, the dune racer has under the hood storage - perfect for taking along toys or packing a nice lunch pail picnic.

As a parent, you want your child to have safe, responsible toys and this dune racer certainly delivers in that department by keeping the speed between 2.5 and 5 mph. The racer comes with a 12-volt battery (and the charger, too) so your child will get lots of play time out of what will be his favorite of all time toys.

Now let's talk about what the Power Wheels Dune Racer from Fisher-Price can handle. Because it has the traction drive system, it can smoothly drive over and through ruts in the trail, keep traction even when the lawn is wet and it won't get bogged down on gravel.

It has safety in mind for the young kids who want to push the speed by having a high-speed lock out and as an extra safety bonus, it also has power brakes. This toy makes the perfect outdoor toy and is a great gift idea from parents or grandparents alike.

@Redneck Lady Luck: A-Redneck, thanks for dropping by. There do seem to be more and more of these little vehicles. And it would give them some skills.

They say that video games are giving kids coordination skills that would take us years to develop so I can imagine that kids driving at a young age is going to increase their ability to drive as young adults. The Dune Racer does look cool.
