Scary Creepy Dolls and Puppets

Updated on September 19, 2014

Be afraid...be very afraid!

I used to be terrified of Killer Doll Movies, especially Child's Play and Puppet Master. Luckily, I grew out of that phase! Although, I still do get a little bit of the heebie-jeebies, every now and then.

While browsing online, I came across many dolls. Some were what many would consider scary, while others were a little creepy and even gruesome.

I decided to showcase the scary and creepy ones that I have found. I didn't want to scare anyone away with the gruesome ones. Ha! I even added a couple well-known movie characters to the mix. I think they would make great collectable items or even fun Halloween props. Honestly, many of them are surprisingly artistic, enjoy!

Living Dead Dolls

Living Dead Dolls are manufactured by Mezco Toys. I believe there are a total of 15 living dead doll series, 5 being in each series. Please correct me if I am wrong.

These dolls range from cutely scary to just plain ole scary. You will even find many popular scary movie characters in this Collection, such as Jason, Freddy Krueger and even Mr. Leatherface himself. Pretty cool, don't you agree?!

Scary Porcelain Dolls

Porcelain dolls are beautiful to some, but scary to others. I guess many people are afraid of them because of their realistic features. Or maybe it has to do with horror flicks such as "Dolls", or those scary stories we might have heard growing up.

Mattel 1972 Saucy Doll

Creepy looking, right? Well if the image doesn't convince you, maybe what she does will.

Her facial expression actually changes with each spin of her arm, but in a VERY creepy manner. Check out this video on Youtube and you be the judge..ah! Saucy Doll Video

The Twilight Zone Talky Tina

If you never seen any of the Twilight Zone episodes, you may wonder what this cute and innocent looking doll is doing here. Well, don't let her cute pigtails and pretty little dress fool you!

Take a look at the following 2 minute clip on YouTube and see why Talky Tina is in my list of scary dolls: Twilight Zone Talky Tina Video.

I used to love watching the twilight zone growing up. Even though I am an 80's baby. Talking Tina was just one of my many favorite episodes.

This Talky Tina doll is said to say five of the scary phrases she used in the Twilight Zone episode.

Michael Myers Plush

That blank and emotionless stare still gets to me, even as an adult. I can't believe how identical this plush doll is to the real Micheal Myers from the classic Halloween films. It stands 14" tall. Imagine having this doll staring back from your dresser while the creepy Halloween theme song is playing in the background....ah!

Billy Jigsaw Puppet

Does this puppet look familiar to you? Well he should, that is, if you ever seen any of the seven Saw movies.

In the movie Saw, the creepy Billy the puppet was used for delivering recorded messages to the people who were held captive by a mad man named John Kramer a.k.a Jigsaw Killer. The puppet would appear either on a television screen or in person.

Chucky Doll

This lens would not be complete without Chucky! Owning the Chucky doll would be pretty cool and scary at the same time. I always thought the original good guy was scary but this one is also. The scars and eyes on Chucky look incredibly real.
