Skyrim Frostmere Crypt to Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon and Skyborn Altar

In Skyrim, the hero's way to get to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon is to head out from Frostmere Crypt. Frostmere Crypt is located southwest of Windward Ruins. Windward Ruins is located southwest of Dawnstar. From Skyrim Frostmere Crypt, head out west and go in a U shaped route around the mountains towards the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. When close to the shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, the hero will encounter an area with giants and mammoths. This will indicate that the hero is close to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. Ignore the giants and mammoths and continue to head west and up the slope until the hero cannot go anymore. If the hero peers down from the mountainous vantage point at this point, he can see two locations on the compass and on the screen - the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon and Skyborn Altar. Now choose one location to go to and slide gently down the steep slopes to that chosen location, either the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon or Skyborn Altar. Once the hero has concluded affairs in each of the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon or Skyborn Altar, then the hero must make a semicircle sweep to go up the slope to reach the other location. The other way to jump down from the top of the mountains to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon or Skyborn Altar without harm may be to uncover the Become Ethereal Dragon Shout.

Skyrim Get the Frost Breath Dragon Shout Word of Power at Skyborn Altar

In Skyrim, the hero can get the Frost Breath Dragon Shout Word of Power at Skyborn Altar. First he must fend off and defeat the dragon dwelling here. At this position at Skyborn Altar, the best strategy to use against the dragon is to stand at one of the narrow walkways of Skyborn Altar and then wait for the dragon to do its midair poise. When the dragon is doing that, launch those dual destructive magic spells at the dragon. Eventually, the dragon's health will fall to the point where it will crash land into the main area of Skyborn Altar just in front of the Frost Breath Word of Power wall. Now slide down to this main area of Skyborn Altar, and finish off the dragon. Read the Frost Breath Word of Power on the wall, and proceed to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon.

Skyrim Meet Silus at Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon

In Skyrim, the hero will meet with Silus Vesuius at the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. Before getting to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, the hero must walk up some stairs and possibly face an ice bear and two necromancers. Defeat these and proceed to the shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. Place the parts of the daedric dagger on the shrine, and watch Silus try to communicate with the daedric prince Mehrunes Dagon. Silus fails. Silus suggests the hero tries talking to Mehrunes Dagon. Being the dragonborn and having assembled the pieces of the daedric dagger, Mehrunes Dagon speaks to the hero. Mehrunes Dagon commands the hero to finish off Silus Vesuius. If the hero does this, he will be rewarded with the daedric dagger.

Mehrunes Dagon has another surprise for the hero......... He unlocks the shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, and two Dremora Kynreeve (daedric warriors) emerge to attack the hero. To defeat these two Dremora Kynreeve at short notice, just the complete slow time dragon shout to give the hero some breathing space, and then launch those dual destruction magic spells at the Dremora. Defeat them and collect the key to the Shrine of Dagon.

In Skyim Shrine of Dagon interior, it's time to put Mehrunes' Razor to good use. Go into sneak mode and target the two Dremora inside. Watch with satisfaction as they succumb to the daedric dagger's one strike one defeat reputation.
