More Tattooed Barbies

As it happens, the Tokidoki Tattoo Barbie is not the only Barbie doll ever to have been tattooed. In 2009, Mattel issued a Barbie called Totally Stylin' Tattoos Barbie. In 2008 Mattel and Harley Davidson produced a Barbie called Butterfuly Art Barbie with wings tattooed on her back. The manufacture of both Barbies was eventually ceased after parental concerns.

I think she's cute as can be! Obviously she's designed for adult collectors (or at least I think it's obvious) and what a great addition to a Barbie collection!

Just heard about this tattoo Barbie and wondered whether anyone had built a lens about her, so I did a search and found this very well formatted lens, nice work! I don't care for tattoos at all so the idea seems kind of gross to me, but no surprise that Barbies are swimming along on this popular tattoo trend

Ten years ago, the tattooed Barbie was a controversy. Today, it is more mainstream. Great presentation on the new Mattel doll.

I think tattooed Barbie is something totally different that collectors will love. Barbie always keeps up with current trends in popular culture.
