Possibly the Best Racing Game of 2011
Test Drive Unlimited 2 is an arcade racing game from Atari. It features stunningly realistic racing locations in Ibiza and Hawaii. There's a single player mode with an interesting storyline, and a multiplayer where TDU 2 players are able to form clubs and participate in racing competitions, or just hang out with their customized avatars.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 was released on February 8th, 2011 in North America, and February 11th in Europe. It is available for Windows, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms. Check out the screenshots and the trailers, and read more about the features of the game.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 joins the advantages of online games genre with the best arcade racing experience, creating what they call "Massively Open Online Racing". The game features seamless automatic content updates, allows you to socialize and interact with other players by walking around, dancing and gambling using customizable avatars, and has a racing club feature with custom logos and exclusive vehicles. TDU2 online play requires no subscription fee and is available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
The single-player mode has an engaging storyline and an experience system with 60 levels. Players can progress by earning experience points gained for winning races and completing challenges, making friends in the game and joining clubs, discovering new roads and taking photos, and acquiring cars, houses and furniture.
TDU2 has new vehicle classes, such as SUVs for off-roading. Some cars are exclusive and can only be obtained by high ranked racing clubs. Since this is an arcade racing game, cars will feature cosmetic damage but it will not affect their performance in any way.

How would you rate Test Drive Unlimited 2 racing game?
TDU2 received mixed reviews. Despite boasting a respectable score of 72 at MetaCritic for the PC version of the game, its user score is at a much lower 5.6, which is far from good. The console versions of the game, however, got more favorable ratings from the players.
A large part of complaints was centered around various bugs and glitches prevalent in the game across all platforms, but, fortunately, most of those were fixed in several patches.
