Tnt Cannon

Updated on September 6, 2012

Minecraft TNT cannons

The TNT cannon is an fun object to make in Minercraft. Many use it to bomb walls down, or just create them for fun. On this page, you will discover the secrets of making a TNT cannon, and how to do it step-by-step, in a way to make TNT fly short, and long.

TNT Cannon Basics

For Making a TNT cannon, you are going to need to know some basic things. First off, i'll list what you need. First, you need to TNT, obsidian, redstone, switches/buttons, and a bucket of water. Using these essential items, you will make your TNT cannon. There are many different styles, and I will go through most of them below, with videos to construct them.

There are long range, short range, compact, automatic, semi-automatic, and many more. It is an interesting experience, as the science behind these TNT cannons is quite fun.

First off the point is to build up TNT above water that flow towards the direction you would like to shoot. You then have them drop, (the more the farther it goes) Then, because the water bunches them up, it creates a great force, the more the greater. You then drop another TNT after wards, in the direction you would like it to go, which causes it to fly, and If It goes far enough, generally it explodes on impact.

Now that you know the basics, watch the videos to give you inspiration on what to do.
