Baby and Toddler Water Toys

Updated on August 5, 2013

Baby Pools, Wading Pools, Inflatable Pools, and Water Sprinklers

Here you'll find a ton of fun baby pools and toddler water toys. Nothing is better on a hot summer day than to play in a kiddie pool, water sprinkler, or other outdoor water toy with your baby or toddler. With rising costs, and increased safety risks of public swimming pools and water parks, entertaining you little ones at home is a great option.

Back when I was a kid, our only options were those hard plastic wading pools. If you were really cool, you had one with a tiny slide that was molded into the plastic.

There are many more options for today's toddlers who are wanting some back yard summer-time water fun. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be as abundant in local stores as the water toys for big kids are. Here you will find some of the coolest baby and toddler water toys, wading pools, and kiddie pools.

Water Activity Tables

Water tables are so much fun for kids on warm, sunny days. They provide hours of active, pretend play.

Water Tables: Great Water Toys for Toddlers - My three kids with their play water table

My Kids with their Toddler Water Table
My Kids with their Toddler Water Table

Water tables are great water toys for toddlers. Unlike a wading pool, water tables don't require special clothing (like a swimsuit). Another great feature of a water table over a wading pool is that since kids don't sit inside the water, a toddler water table can be used beyond just the hot months of summer.

Every single time my kids go outside, they head straight to the water table. All three of them love their water table as you can see in the above picture.

wading pools, while sprinkler toys are fun, they create a slippery area that can cause injury. wading pools when supervised are safer. IMHO

Spinkler toys are cool because if kids do not know how to swim, they can still stay cool.

Sprinkler toys. You've said it all :))

        Nice lens!

I like sprinkler toys. They take up less storage space. They are easier to maintain. Wading pools tend to mildew. Also, since it's clean water that's spraying out, it's healthier (especially for little ones that haven't mastered going in the potty yet).
