Before Optimus Prime, there was Sentinel Prime which in the cartoon series handed over the leadership matrix to Optimus. Sentinel Prime is rumoured to appear in Transformers Dark of the Moon. Before Optimus there was the Primes. Before Megatron, there were the Fallen. Before Megatron left Cybertron, he entrusted the planet to Shockwave. Now a mean looking Shockwave has arrived on Earth, ready to unleash his one eye terror on Planet Earth.

Before there was transformers dark of the moon video game, there was transformers - war for cybertron. This was a game in which players could start playing as Megatron, and blast his way to becoming the overlord of Cybertron. The game played well compared to other previous versions of any transformers game. However, the transformation and game action was perhaps a bit rush and did not feel much like robotic action. Hopefully, Transformers Dark of the Moon Video Game will correct this.
