Treasure Isle: Cheats, Tips, and Tricks

The Cheater's Guide To Making Money

Types of Currency on The Island

Welcome to Treasure Isle!

Let's get right down to business. If you have played any other Zynga game, you'll know that there are two currencies in all their games, including Yoville and Petville. Their newest game, Treasure Isle is no different. Here we will discuss the types of money, their uses, and finally, all the ways to get them!

Gold Coins:

Gold coins are the most common type of currency on the Island. They can buy island decorations from the store, plant seeds in your garden, and let you purchase tools to help you as you dig for buried treasure.

Island Cash:

Island cash is a special type of currency that allows you to purchase extra rare items from the store. You can purchase energy packs, which renew your energy to allow you to dig for treasure, adopt cool island animals, and buy gems, (however I don't recommend that, I'll let you know why later.)

Digging For Buried Treasure

Things You'll Find While Digging

Nothing: Unfortunately, not every plot of ground you dig at will give you something. But don't worry, these are few and far between. Just take it on the chin and keep on digging.

Gold: You're likely to find plenty of gold coins when you're searching for treasure. You can earn as much as 150 coins at a single plot!

Fruit: Fruit is essential to find when you're on the hunt. Eating fruit helps restore the energy lost from digging for treasure.

Treasure: Every piece of treasure you find is part of a larger set or "Collection." Once you've discovered all 5 artifacts, you'll be able to trade them in for a coin bonus up to 10,000 coins for rarer collections!

Island Cash: This is the only free way for players to earn Island cash. It doesn't happen often, but occasionally you'll find a hidden bill somewhere amidst your travels.

Earning Money on Your Island

Each Island is equipped with a small garden. You can use these gardens to plant seeds for various types of fruit. After your fruit has grown, you can harvest it and eat it to increase your energy. Energy is important because it allows you to dig for buried treasure on the various Tiki Islands. Without fruit, you'll have to wait until your energy refills before you can continue exploring.

Gem Trees:

This is the rarest tree in Treasure Isle. Every player receives a certain type of gem tree on his or her island when they first join. Every day, your gem tree will produce it's particular color gems. You can collect your gems or decide to sell them for gold coins. You'll also be able to share the extra gems your tree produces. To share your gems, you'll need to send out a Facebook feed. We'll talk more about those later.

Open Treasure Chests

Treasure Chests:

Every player receives a treasure chest with their island. It is found floating in the water off the coast of your island. Just like the gem tree, you can collect from your treasure chest each day.

Each chest contains gold coins, but "How many" is the question. Treasure chests can contain anywhere from 10 coins to 300 coins!

Your friends also have treasure chests that you're allowed to open once a day. This is a great way to earn money while you wait for your energy to refill

Earn Money By Helping Your Friends

Helping Friends:

Cleaning your friends' islands is easy to do and is a great way to earn some extra money.

Each day, when you visit your friends, you'll be asked if you'd like to help them by cleaning up debris or shooing away seagulls. All you have to so is click accept and your character performs the action on its own.

Each time you help your friends, you'll earn 5 gold coins and 1 experience point!

Sending And Accepting Free Gifts

Sending Free Gifts:

Zynga has incorporated the ability to send free gifts to your friends. These gifts include various types of fruits, island decorations, and several different types of animals.

To send gifts, click the tab at the top of the application page that says "Free Gifts." Then choose the gift you'd like to send and the recipients you want to send it to.

Personal research has proven that the more gifts you send, the more likely you are to receive gifts in return.

Accepting Free Gifts:

When someone has sent you a gift, you can accept it by going to your Facebook "Requests" page. This is where you'll receive gifts for Treasure Isle and any other games you play.

It's fairly self-explanatory, but just in case, To receive gifts, click the "Accept" button and wait. Each gift needs to be individually accepted or you'll lose them.

Using and Selling Your Gifts:

When you accept a gift, it will automatically be placed in your backpack. You have the option to use gifts and sell gifts.

Click the "Use" button under certain items to use them. Use fruit to increase energy. Use trees and shrubs to decorate your island. Use animals to make it fun and friendly.

If you've received something that you don't like, you can sell it by clicking the "Sell" button. This is an easy way to make money by not having done anything!

Earn Money By Clicking Facebook Feeds

Feeds From Friends:

This is one of my favorite ways to earn tons of money and get neat objects for your Island!

Every time a player levels up, completes a collection, finds an extra fruit, gem, or animal, a congratulatory box pops up and asks if you'd like to send a bonus for your friends.

Your friends get these same messages and if you review the feeds on your home page, you'll be able to find tons of special bonuses!

Trouble Find Feeds:

If you can't find any feeds from friends for Treasure Isle, you have a few options:

  1. Go to specific friends' profile pages to see if they've posted any feeds on their wall.
  2. Make sure you've specified "Most Recent" when browsing your home page.
  3. Filter your feed results to show only specific apps you're interested in, including Treasure Isle.
  4. Add more friends who play Treasure Isle.

Adding Friends Who Play Treasure Isle:

This is an easy task to do that will great increase the number of Treasure Isle Feeds you see on your home page as well as the number of gift requests you receive.

To add friends:

  1. Go to Treasure Isle's Main Page.
  2. At the bottom of on one of their wall posts, it doesn't matter what it is about, click the number of people who have commented on it. (You have to click the actual number). This will show you some of the people who have commented on that particular post.
  3. To add someone, click their name.
  4. Click add them as a friend.
  5. Go to the Treasure Isle application.
  6. Click "My Neighbors."
  7. Send them a neighbor request.

Once they've accepted, you'll be able to visit them daily for your special bonuses!

Purchase Money Via Paypal & Credit Card

The Lazy Player's Way:

The last and final way to increase your amount of both Gold coins and Island cash is to purchase it via Paypal or through credit card.

Personally, I think this takes all the fun out of playing the game. When you have endless supplies of money, what's the point in digging for anything?

Also, you can get everything you need freely as long as you follow the tips here. It'll take a little longer, but you won't be dipping into your actual bank account for a silly game.

Time To Make Some Money!

Now that you've learned all the tricks to making money on Treasure Isle, you'll become a treasure hunting expert in no time! For more information about Treasure Isle, check out "Treasure Isle: Everything You Need To Know" as a game-playing guide! Hope you enjoy it and God Bless!

Pet Society is currently my favorite game. They come out with new items weekly, have lots of different ways of making money, and you can earn as much as you want in one sitting. Other games I like are obviously Treasure Isle, Yoville, and Hotel City.

      Hi Daniella,

Requests are sent to your facebook home page. On the right hand side of the screen, (you may have to scroll down a little) there will be an area called "Requests". Click see all, and browse through the requests until you see Neighbor requests from Treasure Isle.

      Hope that Helps,
