Urban Rivals - Vortex Decks

Updated on January 1, 2011

Creating Vortex Clan Decks in Urban Rivals

This lens is about how to construct an effective deck using Vortex clan as the main focus. Each game formats (Type I, Type II, ELO, Survival and Deathmatch) will be having each deck construction.

Deck Construction: Mono or Half Deck

Vortex clan are of those clans in Urban Rivals that are better suite as mono clan deck but they are flexible enough to be in a half deck construction. Here are the most common clans that are usually paired with the Vortex clan on half-deck construction:

La Junta

Vortex - C Wing, C Blade, Cyb Lhia, Deea, Heegrn, Lehrg, Neloe, Oflgn

The Vortex clan is considered the most balanced yet powerful clan and they fair very well on the ELO meta game because of their clan bonus as players have every consolation to get back pillz when one card lose a round. Cyb Lhia is usually the most commonly played as a initial round baiting the opponents to either pill up to prevent the poison effect. C Wing is another great initial round card as this card wins regardless if he wins or lose the round as the opponents suffers a lose of life point either way. Heegrn, Lehrg and Oflgn are your late round killers.

Vortex - Butch, C Wing, C Beast, Cyb Lhia, Deea, Dagg, Neloe, Oflgn

The C Beast is the latest of the C creatures released for the Vortex clan and this one pack a much bigger punch than his previous brethrens. Butch is a welcome addition.

Vortex - Dregn, C Blade, C Wing, Cyb Lhia, Deea, Neloe, Oflgn, Onyx

The great emperor Dregn is the main focus of this deck it has the ability to reduce your opponent's life to 0 to which it cannot be prevented, C Blade, Oflgn, Deea will be the setup group, Neloe and Onyx will be the support cards (damage reduction and SOA). Cyb Lhia and C Wing will be the initial round cards that can benefit the user whether they win or lose their respective rounds.

i think u could use a sekutor krung like a couple because in the 1st round u use sekutor with 48 attack if it win it will do 8 damage then u use krung with the rest of pillz thepower will give to it about 60 attack and inflict the another 4 damages
