What if Toys could Speak

Updated on February 6, 2013

What if Toys could Speak

Imagine a dark night, you sleep in your room, the door creaks, the windows are affected because the wind howls and the teddy bear suddenly asks: "Could you please share with me your blanket?

What would be your reaction? I hope you will be dissolved for one moment? You shout and may be even bellows to wake up from this nightmare and when you see that your teddy bear is reaching for the cover. It is likely to run out of the room!

All this came in my mind when one day I was sitting at a cafe, waiting for my friend to bring the coffee over and staring at a toy car and I started thinking… what if toys could talk.

What would this car tell me? Would it be happy to get away from that child that was perpetually sucking on it and smashing it against the carpet? Would it say how much it missed being dragged along the floor? And driven up walls?

Would it tell me how it longed to be found in a diaper bag while at a restaurant and unexpectedly being the only toy around to play with – with undivided attention for a while.

I think if toys could speak, I could get amazed ! I mean, if you are an only child and toy speaks, it would almost be your brother or sister or if you are not one child, then you have a friend in the house. When we talk about toys, they would be much more fun to play. It would be like the game to be with a man except the toy can not move. They would be able to express their feelings but I want to ask a question.

What if they really speak like on Toy story… Then they can express that when they want you to play with them. They would tell you their secrets, and you can tell them yours. They could tell you stories about their previous lives. But then that kind of makes me think of Chucky! Oh No Chucky !! Chucky ! A Bad Doll ,What if the toy you are talking to is AN EVIL DOLL? Then I would be frightened !

But if toys could speak, the purpose of a toy is not there because the toy is a figure made by the man who is stopped or can not do certain tasks without battery power. But thanks to God, they can not talk or work on themselves otherwise children make toys of his best friends and be closer to them than to humans. So do not be ungrateful for what we have and be thankful for all the blessings of God.
