Wrinkles Dog Hand Puppet
Ever since I was a little girl I've always loved puppets. When I had my tonsils removed at the age of five, my dad had bought me two hand puppets. Seems like a strange toy to me now to buy a child when they have a sore throat and talking isn't encouraged, but at the time I thought they were the best toys ever. The one puppet I remember the most was a white dog with a big black eye. He fit right over my hand and I could insert two fingers into the top of his head to make his head move. I had so much fun with that little dog and would take him everywhere.
Wrinkles Hand Puppet
For my 22nd birthday my stepsister bought me Wrinkles. I'm not sure if she did it as a joke or not but I thought it was a really cute gift. I kept her (mine came with a dress, like the exact one in the picture) later when I had my twin boys they would have great fun playing with Wrinkles, and then later my third son also loved and played with this cute little dog.
Over the years Wrinkles has lost her ribbons that came tied around her ears and her dress has been misplaced somewhere. But we still have her and will pass her on to our grandchildren someday.
Whenever my boys were not feeling well or in a grumpy mood out would come wrinkles to cheer them up. Your hand goes into the back of the dogs head and you can make the mouth open and close or turn the dogs head.
ganzbros Quality Toys
After 34 years I must say that Wrinkles has sure stood the test of a very well made quality toy. This puppet has endured rough housing, and gone through a lot of play with all three of my boys. I can see more children in the future having lots of fun with this cute dog. I've only had to sew one of the paws up when it accidentally got ripped one day.
