Yugioh XYZ Monsters

Updated on July 23, 2014

Powerful Monster Cards That Are Easy To Play

XYZ Monsters are the newest trend in Yugioh. With a black background and a rank instead of the normal level, these cards are the must-have Monster Cards for any and every duelist. With easier ways to play strong monsters than ever, XYZ Monsters only require 2 or more monsters of the same Level. The newest monsters are able to change their levels, making XYZ Summoning a little easier. This lens will help you jump into the newest trend of Yugioh.

Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon - One Of The Strongest Cards In The Game

The main card in the newest booster pack, Galatic Overlord, is Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon which is a Rank 8 XYZ Monster with a tremendous 4500 ATK and 3000 DEF. Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon requires 3 Level 8 monsters, but it has one of the best effects in the game. First of all, if Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is one of the XYZ Materials for Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, you can negate the effects of ALL face-up cards on the field other than this card. Also, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to detach all XYZ Materials from a specific XYZ Monster and gains 500 ATK for each XYZ Material that is detached from the targeted XYZ Monster. Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon can also attack equal to the number of XYZ Materials detached from this effect.

Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon Is Right Here! - The Best Card In The Game Right Now

Yu-Gi-Oh! - Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (GAOV-EN041) - Galactic Overlord - 1st Edition - Ultra Rare
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (GAOV-EN041) - Galactic Overlord - 1st Edition - Ultra Rare

Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is the strongest XYZ Monster in the game that can beat any Synchro Monster, and has the potential to negate the effect of every face-up card on the field! Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon has 4500 ATK and 3000 DEF, and when you use Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon as an XYZ Material, it is practically game over for your opponent. Detach XYZ Materials from your opponent's XYZ Monsters like never before, and Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon can sometimes attack more than once during the same Battle Phase. A monster with 4500 ATK and 3000 DEF that could attack more than once per turn, negates the effects of everything else on the field, and just loves to make your opponent lose life points is an excellent card to have.

Number 39: Utopia

Number 39: Utopia is a Rank 4 monster with 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF. This LIGHT XYZ Monster only requires 2 Level 4 monsters of any type or attribute on the filed in order to XYZ Summon this card. The XYZ Materials act as equip cards on Number 39: Utopia, and you can detach one of them (send it to the Graveyard) to negate 1 attack from ANY monster. However, if Number 39: Utopia is attacked while it has no XYZ Materials, it is instantly destroyed and no one loses life points.

My Review For Number 39: Utopia

Grenosaurus

Grenosaurus is a Rank 3 FIRE monster with 2000 ATK and 1900 DEF. This Dinosaur-Type monster can inflict some serious damage to your opponent. When this card destroys one of your opponent's monsters by battle, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. Most duelists start with 4000 life points, and by properly detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, your opponent loses 1000 life points, so he/she is down to 3000 life points! Make your opponent lose life points now!

Gachi Gachi Gantetsu

Gachi Gachi Gantetsu is a Rank 2 EARTH monster with 500 ATK and 1800 DEF. You must have 2 Level 2 monsters of any type or attribute to XYZ Summon this card. All monsters you control gain 200 ATK and 200 DEF for each XYZ Material attached to this card. When this card would be destroyed, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card instead. Gachi Gachi Gantetsu technically starts with 900 ATK and 2200 DEF because of its XYZ Materials.

Number 17: Leviathan Dragon

This Rank 3 XYZ Monster is the first XYZ Monster ever to be featured in a tin. Number 17: Leviathan Dragon requires 2 Level 3 monsters of any Attribute or Type in order to be XYZ Summoned from the Extra Deck. Number 17 has 2000 ATK and 0 DEF, but the ATK keeps on getting bigger and bigger! By detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, this ferocious dragon gains 500 ATK. However, when Number 17: Leviathan Dragon has no more XYZ Materials, then it cannot attack your opponent's life points directly. It will most likely have 3000 ATK by that time (if the XYZ Materials are detached by other means, then this dragon won't have 3000 ATK). So, a Rank 3 monster has the ability to be as strong as the Blue Eyes White Dragon, and it is very easy to play.

You might not be able to see it, but Number 17: Leviathan Dragon's card shows the number "17" on one of his horns.

Number 17: Leviathan Dragon Review - Done by Me

Did You Know...

XYZ Monsters have a Rank, not a Level, so cards like Gravity Bind do not affect them. They require a specific number of monsters on your side of the field with the same level making cards like Noisy Gnat and Silent Strider helpful for increasing or decreasing a monster's Level which will allow you to get 2 monsters on your side of the field with the same Level. There are also more monsters that can change their Levels making these monsters easy to play.

Thunder End Dragon

Thunder End Dragon is a Rank 8 Dragon-Type monster with 3000 ATK and 2000 DEF. This LIGHT monster may be hard to play, but it has a nasty effect. By detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you have the power to destroy every other monster on the field. Thunder End Dragon is also strong with 3000 ATK, so with no monsters on the field, then Thunder End Dragon can attack directly. With new cards from the Yugioh Galactic Overlord singles, playing Thunder End Dragon is easier.

Number C39: Utopia Ray

Number C39 Utopia is the cover card for the new booster pack Order of Chaos. With 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF, Number C39: Utopia is similar to Number 39: Utopia. Well, there are some important differences. In order to XYZ Summon Number C39: Utopia, you must control 3 Level 4 LIGHT monsters on your side of the field. If you can't do that, then you can use Number 39: Utopia as the XYZ Material (and nothing else). If Number 39: Utopia has any XYZ Materials, then they attach to Number C39: Utopia. Sadly, you can only detach XYZ Materials from this card (use its effect) when you have 1000 life points or less. If you do have 1000 or less life points, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to make one of your opponent's monsters lose 1000 ATK and have this card gain 500 ATK. These effects ware off at the end of the turn, but your opponent will lose 1500 extra life points from that battle (if the selected monster is in Attack Position.

Number 96: Dark Mist

Number 96 is a Rank 2 monster with only 100 ATK and 1000 DEF. However, Number 96: Dark Mist's effect is nasty. First of all, you need three Level 2 Fiend-Type monsters in order to XYZ Summon this monster. Let's just say that Number 96: Dark Mist is likely to win its first three battles because during either players' Battle Phase that involves this card and another monster that your opponent controls (if Number 96: Dark Mist attacks or is attacked), the monster battling Number 96: Dark Mist loses half of its ATK while Number 96: Dark Mist gains half of that monster's ATK. You must do this by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, but the quick ability to beat even the strongest monsters with 4000 ATK is awesome. However, after its XYZ Materials are done, you should get Number 96: Dark Mist off the field as soon as possible.

Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon

Adreus is a Rank 5 Fiend-Type monster with 2600 ATK and 1700 DEF. You must have 2 Level 5 monsters on your side of the field in order to get this card on the field, but the cost is well worth it. Once per turn, you have the power to target and destroy 1 face-up card that your opponent controls. That means a Monster Card, Trap Card, or Spell Card that your opponent controls goes straight to the Graveyard.

Tiras, Keeper of Genesis

Tiras is a Rank 5 monster with 2600 ATK and 1700 DEF. Yes, you do need 2 Level 5 monsters as XYZ Materials, but Tiras may have the best effect out of them all. As long as this card has XYZ Materials (2 turns), Tiras cannot be destroyed by card effects. If Tirus declares an attack or gets attacked, then at the end of the Battle Phase, one of your opponent's cards will be in the Graveyard because when this card is involved in a battle, you get to target and destroy 1 card that your opponent controls (after the Battle Phase). Sadly, during each of your End Phases, you must detach 1 XYZ Material from Tiras, but with XYZ Materials, Tirus is one of the best monsters in the game.

Wind-Up Zenmaister

Wind-Up Zenmaister is a Rank 4 Machine-Type XYZ Monster with 1900 ATK and 1500 DEF. This EARTH monster requires 2 Level 4 monsters on your side of the field in order to XYZ Summon this card. Do you like shuffling your opponent's monsters to Attack and Defense Position like crazy? Well, Wind-Up Zenmaister allows you to change one face-up monster your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position. Then, during the End Phase, the monster affected by this effect is changed to face-up Attack Position. You had access to this effect by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card.

Submersible Carrier Aero Shark

Submersible Carrier Aero Shark is a Rank 3 Fish-Type XYZ Monster with 1900 ATK and 1000 DEF. This WATER monster requires only 2 Level 3 XYZ Materials in order to be XYZ Summoned. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to inflict 100 points of damage to your opponent's life points for each of your banished monsters. If you like banishing your monsters instead of sending them to the Graveyard, then you are going to love Submersible Carrier Aero Shark.

Number 34: Terror Byte

Number 34: Terror Byte is a Rank 3 Machine-Type monster with 0 ATK, but a colossal 2900 DEF. You need three Level 3 XYZ Materials in order to XYZ Summon this card. However, the results can be amazing. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to take control of 1 of your opponent's Level 4 or lower monsters. However, the Level 4 or lower monster targeted by this effect must be in Attack Position, but having the card equivalent to 3 Change of Hearts is something incredible.

Steelswarm Roach

Steelswarm Roach is a Rank 4 Fiend-Type XYZ Monster with 1900 ATK and 0 DEF. The DARK monster requires only 2 Level 4 XYZ Materials, but if you want to prevent your opponent from summoning the strongest monsters around, then this is the card. You can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to negate the Special Summoning of any of your opponent's Level 5 or higher Special Summoned and destroy it. Special Summoned monsters will be a thing of the past with this card.

Black Ray Lancer

Black Ray Lancer is a Rank 3 WATER XYZ Monster with 2100 ATK and 600 DEF. This Beast-Warrior must have 2 Level 3 WATER monsters for XYZ Materials, but the restriction is well worth it. You can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to negate the effect of any monster on the field, and that does include monsters like Yubel-The Ultimate Nightmare.

More About XYZ Monsters

XYZ Monsters are the newest group of Monster Cards introduced by Konami less than a year ago. Today, XYZ Monsters are high in demand and are very popular to old and new duelists. XYZ Monsters are awesome easy to summon monsters that will work for any Deck.

Number 10: Illumiknight

Number 10: Illumiknight is a Rank 4 Warrior-Type XYZ Monster with 2400 ATK and 2400 DEF. You need 3 Level 4 monsters to act as XYZ Materials in order to XYZ Summon the LIGHT monster, Number 10: Illumiknight. You can detach 1 XYZ Material to send a card from your hand to your Graveyard. After that, you can draw 1 card. This strategy works to perfection with a Dark World Deck.

Number 16: Shock Master

Number 16: Shock Master is a Rank 4 Fairy-Type XYZ Monster with 2300 ATK and 1600 DEF. This LIGHT monster does require 3 Level 4 monsters in order to XYZ Summon this card, but you can use Number 16: Shock Master to neutralize some of the best cards on the field. You detach 1 XYZ Material from this card once per turn to neutralize any group of cards on the field (Monster, Trap, or Spell). If you declare monster, then no monster can activate its effect until the end of your opponent's turn. If you declare Trap or Spell, then neither player can activate that type of card until the end of your opponent's turn. This is a good way to build up an attack, and with a monster that has 2300 ATK, building up an attack won't be too hard.

Number 11: Big Eye

Number 11: Big Eye is a Rank 7 monster with 2600 ATK and 2000 DEF. Those stats are good, but you must give up two Level 7 monsters on your side of the field (and have them on the field at the same time). Well, if you want to build your army and deplete your opponent at the same time, then you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card and take control of one of your opponent's monsters. However, Number 11: Big Eye cannot attack on the turn this effect is activated.

Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity

Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 1500 ATK and 1500 DEF. You need 2 Level 3 monsters to XYZ Summon this card, and if you have a Wind-Up Deck, then this is the best card for you. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to Special Summon 1 Wind-Up monster of any Level from your hand or Deck. When a Wind-Up monster is sent to the Graveyard, then don't worry because once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material to send that Wind-Up monster to your hand. However, that Wind-Up monster could not have been destroyed during the Damage Step.

Number 20: Giga-Brilliant

Number 20: Giga-Brilliant is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 1800 ATK and 1800 DEF. Number 20: Giga-Brilliant requires 2 Level 3 monsters to act as XYZ Materials upon Number 20: Giga-Brilliant's XYZ Summon. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from Number 20: Giga-Brilliant to give all of your monsters a 300 ATK boost. So, Number 20: Giga-Brilliant would have 2100 ATK, and your other monsters would gain 300 ATK as well.

My Extra Deck on You Tube

Way more Synchro Monsters, but there are XYZ Monsters.

The Strongest XYZ Monster-Stronger Than Every Synchro Monster

NEO Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon

May 8, 2012, and this card will be in English. Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (but really, it is the same thing as the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. 3 heads with same ATK/DEF) is the strongest XYZ Monster in the entire game. You might be wondering how this card compares to Synchro Monsters. Well, wouldn't it help to know that Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon has 4500 ATK and 3000 DEF? You won't be able to name a single Synchro Monster with that much ATK. Those stats are really good based on Number 39: Utopia Ray's 2500 ATK. Well, Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon won't get on the field easily. This Rank 8 monster requires 3 Level 8 monsters to even play (oh, and yes, similar to Polymerization and the Blue Eyes White Dragons), but if just one of those monsters is Galacy-Eyes Photon Dragon, then all other monsters on the field lose their effects. Cards that rely on their effects for survival such as Yubel had better find another good way to stay on the field. Also, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to completely decimate your opponent's XYZ Monster of all of its XYZ Materials. May 8, 2012, is going to open the floodgates for XYZ Monsters (and yes, I will have a lens all about the pack towards its launch).

Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon

Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon may seem hard to play, but don't worry because there is a card in the new booster pack that makes all of your monsters become Level 8 monsters.

Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja

Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja is a Rank 5 XYZ Monster with 2400 ATK and 1700 DEF. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card during either players' turn to prevent 1 "Ninja" monster you control from being destroyed by battle or by card effects until the End Phase. Having that extra protection is always a good advantage in a duel.

Gaia Dragon The Thunder Charger

As of now, this was the only picture I could find, but I will have the English card as soon as it is released.

Gaia Dragon The Thunder Charger requires 2 Level 7 monsters, but you can use a Rank 5 or 6 XYZ Monster instead if you desire. Any XYZ Materials attached to the Rank 5 or 6 XYZ Monster become XYZ Materials to Gaia Dragon The Thunder Charger as well. Gaia Dragon The Thunder Charger is a Rank 7 WIND Dragon-Type monster that inflict piercing damage to your opponent. With 2600 ATK and 2100 DEF, it is no stronger than the Fusion Monster, Gaia Knight The Dragon Champion, but it does has its advantages such as the piercing damage. Other than the piercing damage, Gaia Dragon The Thunder Charger has no additional effects involving XYZ Materials.

Evolzar Dolkka

Evolzar Dolkka is a power packed Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2300 ATK and 1700 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Dinosaur-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. This Dragon-Type XYZ Monster requires specific XYZ Materials, but this card's effect outweighs the amount of time it takes to get 2 Level 4 Dinosaur-Type monsters on your side of the field. When an effect of an Effect Monster activates, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to completely negate the effect and destroy that monster. You can use this effect for up to two times, but you can stop even the best effects such as Gandora The Dragon of Destruction's effects from occurring.

Blade Armor Ninja

Blade Armor Ninja is a Rank 4 Warrior-Type XYZ Monster with 2200 ATK and 1000 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to have 1 Ninja monster you control attack twice during the same Battle Phase. There are going to be many Rank 4 XYZ Monsters that will beat Blade Armor Ninja, but Blade Armor Ninja allows any Ninja monster including itself to attack twice during the same Battle Phase. An extra attack makes the difference of the entire duel.

Shining Elf

Shining Elf is a Rank 2 XYZ Monster with 1600 ATK and 1000 DEF that requires 2 Level 2 monsters to act as the XYZ Materials. When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to make that monster lose 500 ATK until it is removed from the field. You cannot use this effect during the Damage Step, but that 500 ATK reduction is permanent, so you'll get great results with this card.

Number 32: Shark Drake

Number 32: Shark Drake is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2800 ATK and 2100 DEF that requires 3 Level 4 XYZ Materials. When Number 32: Shark Drake destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to Special Summon this destroyed monster to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position. However, the monster loses 1000 ATK, and on this turn, Number 32: Shark Drake can attack once again. Number 32: Shark Drake will inflict a lot of damage to your opponent if used wisely.

Queen Dragun Djinn

Queen Dragun Djinn is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2200 ATK and 1200 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. If you have a Deck full of Dragon-Type monsters, then Queen Dragun Djinn is the best card that you could ever have. First of all, none of your Dragon-Type monsters except for this card can be destroyed by battle. Also, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher Dragon-Type monster from your Graveyard. That monster's effect(s) are negated, and it cannot attack that turn. However, it cannot be destroyed by battle for as long as Queen Dragun Djinn remains on your side of the field. The Special Summoned Dragon-Type monster still has its ATK, and you can use your Special Summoned Dragon-Type monsters as XYZ Materials for some extraordinary XYZ Monsters like Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.

Number 25: Force Focus

Number 25: Force Focus is a Rank 6 XYZ Monster with 2800 ATK and 2400 DEF that requires 2 Level 6 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to negate the effect(s) of any Level 5 or higher Effect Monster on your opponent's side of the field. The targeted monster will regain its effect(s) during the End Phase, but having a Monster Card left vulnerable means that is can be attacked and destroyed easier compared to if it had an effect. You can also use this card's effect on your opponent's turn before a card effect like Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End's effect is activated. Number 25: Force Focus also has 2800 ATK and 2400 DEF which is able to defeat many monsters.

Photon Strike Bounzer

Photon Strike Bounzer is a Rank 6 XYZ Monster with 2700 ATK and 2000 DEF that requires 2 Level 6 XYZ Materials in order to be XYZ Summoned. Although Photon Strike Bounzer is weaker than Number 25: Force Focus and it has a similar effect, Photon Strike Bounzer can inflict damage with its effect. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when an opponent's monster activates its effect, you can negate the effect of that monster. If you negate that monster's effect, your opponent will lose 1000 life points. Photon Strike Bounzer may not be as strong as Number 25: Force Focus, but Photon Strike Bounzer can inflict damage to your opponent not just by attacking.

Heroic Champion Excalibur

Heroic Champion Excalibur is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2000 ATK and 2000 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 2 XYZ Materials from this card to increase its ATK by 2000. With the 2000 ATK boost, Heroic Champion Excalibur is stronger than any Rank 3 or 4 XYZ Monster (which is not as true when Heroic Champion Excalibur only has 2000 ATK), and with 4000 ATK, Heroic Champion Excalibur is stronger than most Rank 8 XYZ Monsters as well as most monsters in the game. The costs of getting a monster on your side of the field could be high, but with Heroic Champion Excalibur, all you need is only 2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters and then you have a monster with 4000 ATK.

Hieratic Dragon King of Atum

Hieratic Dragon King of Atum is a Rank 6 XYZ Monster with 2400 ATK and 2100 DEF that requires 2 Level 6 Dragon-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. By detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Deck. That monster's ATK and DEF both become 0. Hieratic Dragon King of Atum cannot attack on the turn you use this effect. Now what would that be helpful? The answer is that some XYZ Monsters requires monsters with a high Level to be on the field. You can Special Summon a Dragon-Type monster from your Deck that meets the Level requirements and use that Dragon-Type monster in an XYZ Summon. You can also do this with Synchro Summons as well.

Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis

Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis is a strong Rank 8 XYZ Monster with 3000 ATK and 2400 DEF that requires 2 Level 8 monsters as the XYZ Materials. With Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis, you can detach 1 XYZ Material to Tribute any number of monsters from your hand and/or your side of the field. Then you can destroy an equal number of cards on the field. If you have 5 unwanted monsters in your hand, you can Tribute them all to the Graveyard in order to destroy 5 cards on the field. Then with 3000 ATK, Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis will be able to do a lot of damage to your opponent.

Number 7: Lucky Straight

Number 7: Lucky Straight is a Rank 7 XYZ Monster with 700 ATK and 700 DEF that requires 3 Level 7 monsters as the XYZ Materials and a little bit of luck. You can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to roll a 6 sided die twice. This card's ATK becomes the larger number rolled times 700. If the total roll is exactly 7, you can activate one of Number 7: Lucky Straight's awesome effects. You can either draw 3 cards and discard 2 (like Graceful Charity), Special Summon 1 monster from your hand or either player's Graveyard, os send all other cards on the field to the Graveyard. These are some effects that can destroy your opponent, give you a good chance to do a lot of damage, and could help you win the duel.

Photon Papilloperative

Photon Papilloperative is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2100 ATK and 1800 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to change 1 Defense Position monster on the field to face-up Attack Position. If you successfully use this effect, the targeted monster also loses 600 ATK which makes it easy to destroy for Photon Papilloperative.

Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut

Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 2100 ATK and 1000 DEF that requires 2 Level 3 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn when this card is attacked, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to prevent it from being destroyed by battle or by card effects for the entire turn. In addition to that incredible effect, your opponent would take any Battle Damage you would have taken from battles involving this card. Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut will make your opponent think twice before attacking it with a much stronger monster.

Hierophant of Prophecy

Hierophant of Prophecy is a Rank 7 XYZ Monster with 2800 ATK and 2600 DEF that requires 2 Level 7 Spellcaster-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. By detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can destroy Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls equal to the number of Spellbook Spell Cards in your Graveyard. You can only use this effect once per turn, but if you have a Deck filled with Spellcaster-Type monsters and Spellbook Spell Cards, then Hierophant of Prophecy is the perfect XYZ Monster for your Extra Deck.

Gear Gigant X

Gear Gigant X is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2300 ATK and 1500 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Machine-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can add 1 Level 4 or lower Machine-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When Gear Gigant X leaves the field through any method, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Geargia monster in your Graveyard. Gear Gigant X gives you a chance to rebuild your Machine-Type monsters, gives you the best options to add to your hand, and allows you to Special Summon an additional Geargia monster (Level 3 or lower) when Gear Gigant X leaves the field.

Alchemic Magician

Alchemic Magician is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 1500 ATK and 1500 DEF that requires 3 Level 4 Spellcaster-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. Alchemic Magician gains 200 ATK for each Spell Card in your Graveyard, and since Spell Cards are easy to find, Alchemic Magician will have a lot of ATK points. Once per turn, by sending 1 card from your hand and an XYZ Material attached to this card to the Graveyard, you can choose and Set 1 Spell Card from your Deck. You have the opportunity to choose the Spell Card that you want on your side of the field. Is Lightning Vortex at the bottom of your Deck? With Alchemic Magician, you can Set Lightning Vortex even if it is at the bottom of your Deck.

Soul of Silvermountain

Soul of Silvermountain is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 1800 ATK and 2200 DEF that requires 2 Level 3 EARTH monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to target 1 Set Card in your opponent's Spell and Trap Card Zone. The targeted card cannot be activated while this card remains face-up on the field. Keeping Soul of Silvermountain has its benefits because you can prevent your opponent from activating up to 2 Set Cards. Soul of Silvermountain also has benefits in terms of battling. When Soul of Silvermountain destroys an opponent's monster by battle while it has an XYZ Material(s), you can Special Summon 1 EARTH monster in your Graveyard in face-up Defense Position.

Sword Breaker

Sword Breaker is a Rank 6 XYZ Monster with 2700 ATK and 1000 DEF that requires 2 Level 6 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can declare 1 Monster Type. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster of that same Type, that monster is automatically destroyed. When a monster stronger than Sword Breaker is on your opponent's side of the field (which is an event that will not occur too often), you can destroy it with Sword Breaker's effect.

Fairy King Albverdich

Fairy King Albverdich is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2300 ATK and 1400 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 EARTH monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, all non-EARTH monsters currently on the field lose 500 ATK and DEF. This effect does not ware off during the End Phase, so if you have a Deck with a lot of EARTH monsters, you can take advantage of a Deck without EARTH monsters with Fairy King Albverdich.

Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon

Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon is a Rank 9 XYZ Monster with 0 ATK and 0 DEF that requires 3 Level 9 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can banish any monster(s) that was Normal Summoned or Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field this turn, but that's only a small part of Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon's great effect. Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon cannot be destroyed by battle, and your opponent takes all Battle Damage you would have taken from this card (reminds me of Yubel). What makes Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon unique is that when it is destroyed while it has an XYZ Material attached to it, you can Special Summon Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon from your Graveyard, and then it gains 1000 ATK times the number of cards that are currently banished. If you have cards in your Deck that banish cards such as Soul Release, Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon could easily get 10,000 ATK from its effect.

Number C32: Shark Drake

Number C32: Shark Drake is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster that requires 3 Level 4 WATER monsters as the XYZ Materials. That may seem like a lot, but you can use Number 32: Shark Drake as an XYZ Material as well instead of 4 WATER monsters (XYZ Materials attached to Number 32: Shark Drake become XYZ Materials of this card). During either player's turn, when you have less than 1000 life points, you can detach 1 XYZ Material and banish 1 monster from your Graveyard to target 1 monster on the field. The targeted monster's ATK and DEF are both reduced to 0 until the End Phase. If the monster was in Attack Position, Number C32: Shark Drake can destroy that monster and inflict a lot of damage to your opponent. With 2800 ATK and 2100 DEF, Number C32: Shark Drake will also be able to win in a lot of battles.

One-Eyed Skill Gainer

One-Eyed Skill Gainer is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2500 ATK and 2600 DEF that requires 3 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. By detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card once per turn, you can target 1 other XYZ Monster on your opponent's side of the field. One-Eyed Skill Gainer's name and effect become the same as the targeted monster. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field, but you can use the effect of another XYZ Monster with One-Eyed Skill Gainer.

Heroic Champion Gandiva

Heroic Champion Gandiva is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2100 ATK and 1800 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, when a Level 4 or lower monster(s) is Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to destroy the monster(s). This effect works really well against Monster Effects such as Nimble Momonga which allows you to Special Summon 2 other Nimble Momongas which can help out a lot with life points. You can use Heroic Champion Gandiva's effect to destroy cards like Nimble Momonga.

Infernal Flame Vixen

Infernal Flame Vixen is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2200 ATK and 2000 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Pyro-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, Infernal Flame Vixen gains 500 ATK until your opponent's End Phase. This gives Infernal Flame Vixen a temporary 2700 ATK which is higher than the average Rank 4 XYZ Monster. If Infernal Flame Vixen is destroyed with 2500 ATK or more, 3 monsters in the Graveyard (yours and/or your opponents) are banished.

Bahamut Shark

Bahamut Shark is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2600 ATK and 2100 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 WATER monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to Special Summon 1 Rank 3 or lower WATER XYZ Monster straight from your Extra Deck. Bahamut Shark cannot attack for the rest of the turn, but if you want to build an XYZ Monster army, Bahamut Shark is the best card to add to your Extra Deck. Although WATER XYZ Monsters are the only XYZ Monsters that this effect applies to, there are many popular WATER XYZ Monsters such as Number 17: Leviathan Dragon.

Lightning Chidori

Lightning Chidori is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 1900 ATK and 1600 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 WIND monsters as the XYZ Materials. When Lightning Chidori is XYZ Summoned, you can target 1 Set card that your opponent controls and send it to the bottom of their Deck. You can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card once per turn to target 1 face-up card that your opponent controls and return it to the top of the Deck. You can use Lightning Chidori's effect to target a Level 5 or higher monster your opponent controls. That way, your opponent will have to Tribute a monster(s) to Tribute Summon the monster, and you know what card your opponent is going to draw during their next Draw Phase.

Artorigus King of the Noble Knights

Artorigus King of the Noble Knights is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2000 ATK and 2000 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Noble Knight monsters as the XYZ Materials. When Artorigus King of the Noble Knights is XYZ Summoned, you can select up to 3 Noble Arms equipped cards in your Graveyard and equip them to this card. Once per turn, you can detach a XYZ Material from this card to destroy any number of Spell/Trap Cards on the field equal to the number of Noble Arms Equip Spell Cards on the field. Artorigus King of the Noble Knights can get 3 Noble Arms Equip Spell Cards right from the Graveyard which will allow you to destroy 3 Spell/Trap Cards on the field each time you detach an XYZ Material from Artorigus King of the Noble Knights.

Mermail Abysstride

Mermail Abysstride is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 1600 ATK and 2800 DEF that requires 3 Level 3 monsters as the XYZ Materials. During either player's turn, when your opponent targets exactly 1 Mermail monster you control for an attack or with a Spell or Trap Card effect that could have targeted this card, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to have the attack or effect is now applied to this card. If you leave Mermail Abysstride in Defense Position, and a weaker Mermail monster you control is attacked, you can detach 1 XYZ Material to have the attack redirected to Mermail Abysstride. With 2800 DEF, your opponent's monsters are very unlikely to get through this card easily. When Mermail Abysstride is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can target 1 Mermail monster in your Graveyard except for Mermail Abysstride and Special Summon it. Although Mermail Abysstride is a good XYZ Monster, it is only good for a Deck that consists of a lot of Mermail monsters. Otherwise, none of this card's effects would work.

Brotherhood Of The Fire Fist-Tiger King

Brotherhood Of The Fire Fist-Tiger King is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2200 ATK and 1800 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Beast-Warrior-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. When Brotherhood Of The Fire Fist-Tiger King is XYZ Summoned, you are allowed to Set 1 Fire Formation Spell/Trap Card from your Deck. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can negate the effects of all face-up Effect Monsters currently on the field except Beast-Warrior-Type monsters until the end of your opponent's next turn. With all of your opponent's monster's effects neutralized, you can go in and attack with your Beast-Warrior-Type monsters. Brotherhood Of The Fire Fist-Tiger King also works well if you control a Jinzo and want to activate a Trap Card such as a Fire Formation Trap Card. When Brotherhood Of The Fire Fist-Tiger King is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can send 3 Fire Formation Spell/Trap Cards you control to the Graveyard. By doing this, you can Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Beast-Warrior-Type monsters with the same ATK (not Level) from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. It should be noted that the monsters Special Summoned by Brotherhood Of The Fire Fist-Tiger King's effect do not lose their own effects.

Haxe Flame Basiltrice

Haxe Flame Basiltrice is a Rank 6 XYZ Monster that requires 2 Level 6 FIRE monsters although you can use even more XYZ Materials as well (maximum is 5). Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls or is in their Graveyard and banish it. Haxe Flame Basiltrice gains multiple effects that are entirely based on the number of XYZ Materials attached to it. If Haxe Flame Basiltrice has 3 or more XYZ Materials attached to it (this can be done with Equip Spell Cards that act as XYZ Materials as well), Haxe Flame Basiltrice gains 200 ATK and DEF for each XYZ Material attached to it. Haxe Flame Basiltrice has 2500 ATK and 1800 DEF, and Haxe Flame Basiltrice's effect could give it an extra 600 to 1000 ATK points depending on the number of XYZ Materials attached to Haxe Flame Basiltrice. If Haxe Flame Basiltrice has 4 or more XYZ Materials attached to it, Haxe Flame Basiltrice cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. Being unable to be targeted by your opponent's card effects and at that point having at least 3300 ATK makes Haxe Flame Basiltrice an XYZ Monster with a lot of potential. If Haxe Flame Basiltrice has 5 XYZ Materials, it cannot be destroyed by card effects. Haxe Flame Basiltrice can gain a lot of ATK points and become immune to card effects making it the ideal card to have in your Extra Deck. Just make sure you can get enough Level 6 FIRE monsters on the field or Equip Spell Cards that count as XYZ Materials (although they are not as reliable since they can be destroyed by Spell and Trap Cards like Mystical Space Typhoon).

Abyss Dweller

Abyss Dweller is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 1700 ATK and 1400 DEF, and when an XYZ Material attached to this card is a WATER monster, all WATER monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Since Abyss Dweller is a WATER monster, it would automatically gain 500 ATK from its own effect. During either player's turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from Abyss Dweller to negate any of your opponent's card effects that involve the Graveyard. Monster Reborn, Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End, and Call of the Haunted are some cards that require the Graveyard in order to use their effects. With Abyss Dweller, you can stop your opponent from using any of these effects. If you have a lot of WATER monsters in your Deck, you can also use Abyss Dweller's effect to give all of your WATER monsters a 500 ATK boost. Combined with Star Boy and Umiiruka, all of your WATER monsters would gain 1500 ATK. Those 2 other cards aren't hard to play considering the fact that Star Boy is a Level 2 monster and Umiiruka is a Field Spell Card. Abyss Dweller has the potential to boost the ATK of all of your WATER monsters, and combined with other cards, you could give yourself a huge advantage against your opponent.

Baby Tiragon

Baby Tiragon is a Rank 1 XYZ Monster with 900 ATK and 900 DEF that requires 3 Level 1 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to have 1 Level 1 monster you control be able to attack your opponent's life points directly. This effect may seem like a waste of time considering that Baby Tiragon is a RANK 1 monster and Level 1 monsters aren't the strongest. However, Mokey Mokey and Mokey Smackdown put together can result in a Level 1 monster with 3000 ATK. Now Baby Tiragon's effect would have a lot more value since the Level 1 monster is a lot stronger. You can also use Field Spell Cards and other card effects to make your Level 1 monsters stronger so that when they attack directly with Baby Tiragon's effect, they inflict a lot of damage to your opponent. The main problem with Baby Tiragon is that although it requires 3 Level 1 monsters as the XYZ Materials, Baby Tiragon still has only 900 ATK and 900 DEF making it an easy target to destroy for an opponent's monster. A good card to have to prevent this from happening is Gravity Bind which prevents any Level 4 or higher monsters from attacking. Since Baby Tiragon's effect only works on Level 1 monsters, they can still attack even with Gravity Bind on the field while your opponent's stronger monsters cannot attack your weaker monsters.

Daigusto Emeral

Daigusto Emeral is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 1800 ATK and 800 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from Daigusto Emeral, you can activate one of Daigusto Emeral's effects. The first option is to select 3 monsters in your Graveyard, send them to your Deck, shuffle your Deck, and then draw a card. The second option is to target 1 non-Effect monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it to your side of the field. Daigusto Emeral isn't the strongest Rank 4 XYZ Monster, but it allows you to reuse some of your Yugioh Cards in the same duel. The non-Effect Monster that can be Special Summoned by Daigusto Emeral's effect does not have any limitations in terms of ATK/DEF or Level. You can Special Summon a strong non-Effect Monster such as Blue-Eyes White Dragon or a more strategic non-Effect monster that can be used for an XYZ Summon or Synchro Summon. If you do have Daigusto Emeral in your Extra Deck and plan to make this card a main part of your Deck, I do not recommend making sure all of your monsters are non-Effect monsters since Effect Monsters can do more damage to your opponent with their effects as well as ATK/DEF.

Daigusto Phoenix

Daigusto Phoenix is a Rank 2 XYZ Monster with 1500 ATK and 1100 DEF that requires 2 Level 2 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from Daigusto Phoenix, you can target 1 face-up WIND monster that you control. For this turn, the targeted WIND monster can attack twice during each Battle Phase. Daigusto Phoenix isn't the strongest monster which means you'll have to protect it to keep it on the field, but you can use Daigusto Phoenix's effect on a very strong WIND monster such as Dark Simorgh (which is a DARK and WIND monster). If you have a monster with well over 2000 ATK that can attack twice during the same Battle Phase, that monster has the potential to do a lot of damage to your opponent. You can even use Daigusto Phoenix's effect on itself if there are no other WIND monsters on your side of the field. Then Daigusto Phoenix will be able to attack twice during the same Battle Phase. Daigusto Phoenix is the perfect card to have in any Deck if a majority of the monsters in that Deck are WIND monsters.

Giant Soldier Of Steel

Giant Soldier Of Stone makes a comeback in XYZ form. Giant Soldier Of Steel is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 1300 ATK and 2000 DEF that requires 2 Level 3 Rock-Type monsters as the XYZ Materials. This makes Giant Soldier Of Steel one of the few XYZ Monsters that requires XYZ Materials of a specific type. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to give this card a 1000 DEF boost until the End Phase. If this effect is successfully activated, you do not receive any Effect Damage from your opponent's card effects the entire turn. Although Giant Soldier Of Steel is primarily an XYZ Monster that focuses on its DEF value, you can surprise your opponent by turning Giant Soldier Of Steel into an attacking machine with Shield and Sword (swaps the ATK and DEF of all monsters currently on the field). Not only would your opponent's monsters be affected, but you could then decide which monster to attack with Giant Soldier Of Steel when it has its 3000 DEF. Just because a monster has a lot of DEF and a small amount of ATK points doesn't mean it can become a powerful monster.

Evigishki Merrowgeist

Evigishki Merrowgeist is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2100 ATK and 1600 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. After damage calculation, if this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to shuffle the destroyed monster back into the Deck instead of sending it into the Graveyard. If this card destroys an opponent's monster whose effect can be used in the Graveyard such as Bacon Saver or Shiny Black "C", you can return that monster to your opponent's Deck instead. If your opponent can bring back that monster with a card like Monster Reborn right away, it would be a good idea to send that monster to your opponent's Deck instead.

Diamond Dire Wolf

Diamond Dire Wolf is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2000 ATK and 1200 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field. Both of the targeted cards are then destroyed. Diamond Dire Wolf basically allows you to trade off your monsters for one of your opponent's cards. The less cards your opponent controls, the better this effect will be.

M-X-Saber Invoker

M-X-Saber Invoker is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with 1600 ATK and 500 DEF that requires 2 Level 3 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, by detaching 1 XYZ Material from this card, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 EARTH Warrior or Beast-Warrior-Type monster from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. That monster is then destroyed during the End Phase. This effect can only be used on monsters of a specific Type and Attribute which means you'll have to have multiple cards in your Deck that apply to the specific Type and Attribute. Although the monster would be destroyed during the End Phase, you can use it as a Synchro Material or XYZ Material.

Evilswarm Ophion

Evilswarm Ophion is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 2550 ATK and 1650 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 Iswarm monsters as the materials. While this card has an XYZ Material, Level 5 or higher monsters cannot be Special Summoned. If you have a lot of XYZ Monsters in your Extra Deck and your opponent has none, you will benefit greatly from this effect because you will still be able to Special Summon monsters of a high Rank with high ATK/DEF and a good effect. However, your opponent will not have the same advantage. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to add 1 Infestation Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. If you have a lot of Iswarm monsters in your Deck, this card will prove to be very helpful.

XYZ Support Cards

Any other Yugioh Cards beyond this point are XYZ Support cards that can give you a better experience for using XYZ Monsters. XYZ Monsters will still be updated above this point, but all of the supporting cards are down at the bottom.

ZW-Unicorn Spear

ZW-Unicorn Spear is a Level 4 LIGHT monster with 1900 ATK and 0 DEF. You can attach ZW-Unicorn Spear to a Number C39: Utopia Ray on your side of the field. In order to attach ZW-Unicorn Spear to Number C39: Utopia Ray, ZW-Unicorn Spear must be in your hand. ZW-Unicorn Spear has a lot of ATK too, but how would you feel to have an XYZ Monster with over 4000 ATK? That would feel good, and ZW-Unicorn Spear is here to help. The XYZ Monster equipped with XZW-Unicorn Spear gains 1900 ATK. That's right, the XYZ Monster with ZW-Unicorn Spear gains 1900 ATK plus a sweet effect. When the XYZ Monster battles an opponent's monster, that monster's effect is negated until the end of the Battle Phase. High ATK and a great effect for XYZ Monsters--ZW-Unicorn Spear.

ZW-Tornado Bringer

ZW-Tornado Bringer is a Level 5 monster with 1300 ATK and 1800 DEF that can equip itself to any Utopia monster that you control from your hand or side of the field. ZW-Tornado Bringer gives the Utopia monster an extra 1300 ATK and makes the equipped Utopia monster immune to card effects. This can give you a big advantage in the duel since the Utopia monster would then have 3800 ATK, and card effects such as Nightmare Wheel and Tribute to The Doomed that would destroy or restrict the Utopia monster in any way would not work. By combining ZW-Tornado Bringer with other ZW monsters, you could have a very powerful Utopia monster that could easily have over 6000 ATK.

ZW-Lightning Blade

ZW-Lightning Blade is a Level 5 monster with 1200 ATK and 2000 DEF that can be equipped to 1 Utopia monster that you control (from your hand or your side of the field). The equipped Utopia monster gains 1200 ATK, and all face-up ZW cards (monster or XYZ Material) you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. If the monster equipped with this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can destroy this card instead. ZW-Lightning Blade protects your Utopia monster from card effects and other ZW monsters as well.

XYZ Gift

Pot of Greeds aren't being made too much today, but cards similar to Pot of Greed are being made now. XYZ Gift is one of those cards. When you control 2 or more XYZ Monsters, you can detach a total of 2 XYZ Materials from one of the XYZ Monsters to draw 2 cards. If you are losing, it would make sense to trade XYZ Materials for extra cards in your hand depending on the XYZ Monster.

XYZ Burst

XYZ Burst is a Normal Spell Card that can be used only when you control a Rank 6 or higher XYZ Monster on your side of the field. When you use XYZ Burst with the given conditions, you can destroy all Set cards on your opponent's side of the field with no questions asked. XYZ Burst is an awesome card to have as long as you can get monsters with the same Level on your side of the field.

XYZ Reborn

XYZ Reborn is a Normal Trap Card that allows you to bring back 1 XYZ Monster from your Graveyard. Well, why couldn't a Monster Reborn do that? Well, XYZ Reborn does bring back the XYZ Monster, but then it acts as an XYZ Material to that XYZ Monster. Now, monsters dependent on their XYZ Materials such as Number 39: Utopia can now be played with ease and confidence.

XYZ Energy

XYZ Energy is a Normal Spell Card that allows you to detach 1 XYZ Material to destroy 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. For some XYZ Monsters that do not use their effects involving XYZ Materials such as Gaia Dragon The Thunder Charger. XYZ Energy makes every XYZ Material useful, but at the same time, you don't want to detach XYZ Materials from dependent monsters such as Number 39: Utopia.

XYZ Territory

XYZ Territory is a Field Spell Card is a Field Spell Card that gives all of your XYZ Monsters a special ATK and DEF boost. All XYZ Materials gain 200 ATK and DEF times their Rank. Number 39: Utopia gains 800 ATK and DEF while Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon gains an incredibly high 1600 ATK and DEF. These ATK and DEF boosts only occur when an XYZ Monster battles another monster. If XYZ Territory would be destroyed, then you can detach 1 XYZ Material from a monster you control instead. With XYZ Territory, all of your XYZ Monsters will get a lot stronger and do more damage to your opponent.

Hazy Pillar

Hazy Pillar is a Continuous Spell Card that mainly works for a Deck with a lot of Hazy Flame monsters in your Deck, but Hazy Pillar can also help your XYZ Monsters out. Hazy Pillar allows you to Normal Summon your Hazy Flame monsters with 1 less Tribute requirement (a Level 6 or higher Hazy Flame monster only requires 1 Tribute). Hazy Pillar also has an effect which allows you to attach any Hazy Flame monster from your hand to any XYZ Monster you control. This effect can be used on various XYZ Monsters such as Number 39: Utopia (who really needs XYZ Materials to stay on the field), Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (so it can attack your opponent's life points directly even with 3000 ATK), Gachi Gachi Gantetsu (so more monsters on your side of the field gain even more ATK and DEF), and more. Hazy Pillar allows you to easily give your XYZ Monsters more XYZ Materials which can help you win more duels.

Who knew there could be so many monsters? This latest installment group is quite intriguing and the new approach to bringing monsters to the playing field is pretty cool. I'm not the type to take to new installments but this is quite the exception. Thanks for sharing this awesome lens.
