The chart to be delineated is one of a young girl whose 5^th house is ruled by the sign Cancer. Noted: She also has her Sun in Cancer located in the same house. This fact inexorably places this house on double notice to be emphasized throughout her entire life!

I have thus stated previously to look for the ruler of the sign that’s located on the fifth house cusp to give a specific themed direction in the person’s life. These ‘colored’ themes will continue to surface and re-cycle until the lessons associated are incorporated, embraced, appreciated, learned and applied.

In this case, Cancer being ruled by the moon and as her Natal Sun will give inordinate unconscious drives for self-expression. In other words, her depth of creative sacred sensual sexual artistic conveyance will be hindered until at such time she releases a need to identify with the other so emphatically.

Before we travel in exploration to find the Moon, which reigns supreme in her chart, we must make added note that the Sun is casting shadows as it binds to the relationship theme in her chart. She will inevitably fight the tendency to take things enormously personal, and at the same time, nurture her mate as if a child.

In other words, when her mate (acting a child) decides to be rebellious, as all children eventually do, in hopes and aspirations of developing his/her own stand in the world, she would disproportionately misinterpret actions, words, gestures and facial expressions.

Virgos, though gregarious humanitarians, are often known to sabotage intimate involvements simply because of distorted pride and uncomely vulnerability.

The mate will be necessarily older, if not in years, than, mindset and present somewhat of a ‘goody two’ shoes demeanor. Now, the issue, here, is not what is ‘right or wrong’ or ‘black or white’, though it will seem so, but the working out of deeply ingrained false ideas attached to the mate of choice.

Life is filled to capacity with blemishes and tarnished defects. No one is exempt! In other words, the mate will be so exaggeratedly set up on a pedestal, there’s no possible way for him/her to pee.

As was stated in another MODE of Cosmic Therapy Esoteric Astrology writing, in order to know what types of personality traits will be found in the mate as a breeding ground of necessary lessons for the soul to pursue; one needs to look to the immediate right (using the right hand to scour the pie shaped chart) to locate the very next planet. [not asteroids, nodes or part of fortune].

In this case, Pluto is the very next planet found in the eighth house. This indicates that sexual exchange will be a definite source of continued mental anxiety and emotional pain until vital lessons of detachment are learned and expressed.

Also, the fear of death will have to be dealt with on a conscious level to ever resolve the issues of abandonment and rejection. Every relationship will be tied to the mother on a subconscious level. The fear of losing or having lost the mother, or the possibility of never had known her, at an early age determines the state of mind when interacting in intimate relationships.

The need to identify is so greatly distorted, that the paralysis of the individual’s will is stunted, thereby, making it an easy set-up to place so much importance in the mate. The lessons needed to be grasped have to deal with sexual intimacy, the fear of isolation, the unresolved matters of not feeling loved or appreciated by and from the mother.

These issues are so indomitably ingrained due to a long, long, long line of symbiotic heritage. Pluto is dangerously morbid in his approach and attempt to bring enlightenment through this particular emotionally charged romantic experiences of excruciating 'life or death' heart-breaking situations.
