10 Minutes To A More Toned Body
Working out is tough. For some people it is a motivation issue, but for others, it is simply an issue of trying to find enough time to fit it into their busy schedules.
As a stay home Mom of two little ones, there are times that I am lucky if I can go to the bathroom or shower, let alone complete an entire workout. On days when I am really in a time crunch, I do "Hit The Spot Pilates" by Denise Austin.
Denise Austin has many different workout videos for sale, but it's my opinion that this one is the best! It consists of 7 different workouts; core, abs, waistline, hips, buns, thighs, and total body. Six of the workouts are only 10 minutes long and the seventh one is only 15 minutes. Who can't spare just 10 minutes a day??
One of my favorite features is you are able to customize your own workout with your DVD remote. You can choose to put some of the workouts together to create 20, 30, 40, or even 75 minute workouts, or you can just do one of them to keep it really short.
On days when I do not get a chance to workout, I will often just do one 10 minute segment before bed. The categories are short enough that I don't even break a sweat enough to need to rinse off after (another bonus!), but the moves are complex enough that I feel them working. Another added benefit is, because of the style of movement, the DVD has also improved my sleep when I do it in the evenings.
