10 Ways to Stay Positive

10.Smile

Smile and let the world wonder why…..smile has several health benefits. The power of smile should never be underestimated. It can start a relationship as well as break one. Besides when you have a problem and you smile, it actually helps you to think better. It’s like telling your body not to rush because I have everything under control. If all these aren’t good enough reasons for you to smile, get this, your haters hate to see you always happy and smiling. Next time you want to piss someone off don’t forget your million dollar smile $$!



9.Socialize

We all know that man is a social animal. Without communicating he will perish. Socializing is essential. And no I’m not talking about Facebook. Facebook is good for your business and staying connected with friends but it cuts down your productivity. Studies have revealed that the more we communicate the more motivated we become. It doesn’t matter whether it’s somebody you just saw or somebody you already knew as long as you are sharing information positively. People who interact more are more successful. So the next time you see your good ol’pal or stranger down the street don’t forget to say hi.



8.Learning a new language

Learning anything new keeps you motivated. Studies have shown that the more languages you learn the more you increase your brains learning capacity. Besides, people who know a foreign language are considered smarter. As a rule of the thumb, you should know at least two native languages and two foreign languages. Learning new things can do wonders. Even learning how to learn is motivating. The difficult part is finding something you are interested in. The crave for knowledge is often addicting and once you get hooked on something you find interesting, the game is on.




7.Listening to music

There is a song for every occasion. Some gets you motivated and on your feet. Some make you think. And of course what makes the love life sweeter is the music esp. the love songs.

Listening to new music helps you boost your creativity. Singing in the bathroom helps too. Hey, it’s the bathroom, no one is going to hear. Besides, now you have a good reason to sing in the shower.





6.Working out

Exercise makes you vulnerable to your emotions and helps your real emotions to come out. Working out is a great way to channel your energy: positive or negative. Next time you are depressed instead of raiding the fridge, go jogging or hit the gym. Not only does it help you to have a great physique, it also helps you to think clearly.



5.Straighten up your house

It’s difficult to convince yourself to start doing it but once you get going, you can’t stop. Seeing your room tidy motivates you to do more. Keeping at least your work desk organized can boost your productivity. Remember “if it’s to be, it’s up to you”.



4.Healthy habits/lifestyle

Cut down on the alcohol and cigarettes. Partying into late night ruins the next day. Same goes with heavy drinking. Keep it to a minimum and don’t let it reflect on your health. Once you are convinced you have a healthy lifestyle i.e. when you see yourself changing, the thought itself is enough to get you up and going in the right track. Besides you will start finding yourself surrounded by people who are fascinated by your lifestyle and wants to be a part of it. Yes, I’m talking about the chicks.

Eat healthy foods and cut down on the junk. Drink more water and eat more fruits and vegetables. Even better start your day with a tall glass of water to get the metabolism going. Moreover eating fresh fruits makes your skin glow.



3.Having goals

The importance of having goals cannot be stressed more. It is essential to have a goal in your life and even more important to see you have reached them. Make long term goals and make sticking point and stick to them so that eventually you can fulfill them. Have short term goals too. Decide every morning your priorities for that day and see that you have reached your goals at the end of the day. Celebrate mini-victories. Life is meant to be enjoyed.



2.Choose who to be with

Be friends with like minded people. Cut people who are always tearing you down and affecting your mood, from your friend circle. And never keep any bitter feelings towards anyone. Learn to forgive and grow. If you never learn to forgive you are never going to grow up. You are being a child and will always be one. If anybody is affecting your thinking and limiting your success, it’s time to dump those people and move on. No matter how strong or confident you are , when you spend too much time with people having limited mindset, it will affect you personally and ultimately hinder your performance.



1.Get inspired

There is always somebody to inspire you. It doesn't matter which walk of life you are in; all you have to do is open your eyes and look around. Follow people who inspire you and learn from their mistakes. See what’s working for them and what is not. If you can’t find somebody in real life, take that successful business man you saw in the movie you watched yesterday. But never let your personality get lost in them. We have them for their personality we need you for yours. Keep improving your personality, not blindly mimicking someone else’s.

      I like to use the term, "On Point" and this hub is exactly that, On-Point! This hub should be posted to facebook, twitter and any other social networking site as to generate a mind set for others that mayb e stuck in a way of life that they can not get out of! I too incorporate 7 or 8 of these function in to my everyday life so it must mean that I'm on the right path! Great Hub!

      This isn't just ten ways to stay positive, this is ten ways to be happy, be healthy, and just have a fulfilling life in general. I love it! The only one I'm not currently pursuing is a new language, but maybe I should start. Great Work!
