Some people love it and some people hate it! If I cook broccoli for supper.....guess what....I'm the only one eating it.
Unless however I sneak it into sauces, but don't tell my family that.

It is one of the BEST cancer-fighting foods on the planet. It is loaded with a wide range of substances that fight and/or inhibit cancers such as breast, prostate, skin, colon and rectal cancers.
My research from the book "The Cancer Killers" states
Broccoli can promote the production of certain enzymes that deactivate free radicals and carcinogens and enable the body to detoxify dangerous hormone metabolites. One of these compounds, known as sulforaphane, which assists the body in metabolizing hormones, directly inhibits cancer cell proliferation and is found in up to one thousand times greater concentration in the sprouts of the broccoli vs the mature plant.

Oh man do I ever like to eat mashed up cauliflower. I never really knew that I was consuming a cancer fighting food.
Just like broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower are members of the calciferous family and are especially good at fighting breast cancer.
The reason it is especially good for breast cancer is because they help convert cancer promoting estrogen into a more protective hormone.
