Sharing My 3 Secrets to Superb Health!

I have kept these 3 simple secrets to my superb health quiet for way too long! So I decided today to share them with the world.

I derived these secrets from the 'Encyclopedia of Foods and Their Healing Power' which is a comprehensive 3-volume encyclopaedia book set that provides you with ALL the knowledge you need about ANY food in the world and which I will share with you shortly.

Staying healthy and healing our bodies is really quite a simple and uncomplicated affair that has remained veiled for many people. Which is why, unfortunately, many persons keep spending huge amounts of money on medication that has more side effects than factual good for their bodies.

Even more unfortunate is the fact that although some people may have heard this before, many people think that it must be more complicated than just eating the right foods.

So I will share with you my 3 secrets that have been well-researched, proven to work wherever you live and if used in combination will guarantee you perfect bodily health and wellness at ANY age.

5 stars for Encyclopedia of Foods & Their Healing Power
ENCYCLOPEDIA OF FOODS AND THEIR HEALING POWER (3 Volume)
ENCYCLOPEDIA OF FOODS AND THEIR HEALING POWER (3 Volume)

This is the encyclopaedia set, which is comprised of 3 books, from which I have gained my well-kept food secrets, until now, and from which I will be sharing with you shortly.

They say don’t judge a book by its cover! These books look quite unassuming but are packed with knowledge that will last you your entire lifetime.

The photos within are beautifully illustrated and attractive, which is expected of a book about food and they are well linked to each other for easy referencing and cross referencing.

One of my favourite quotes in the Holy Bible is "The Lord created medicines from the earth, and a sensible person will not hesitate to use them".

From which Book in the Holy Bible is this verse taken from?

Healing Foods Secret No. 1

Knowing the different classes of foods, their components, their botanical family, derivative foods, nutritional value, respective benefits & drawbacks is the 1st Secret to perfect bodily health!

I was not exaggerating earlier when I said that this book covers ANY food in the world because Volume 1 provides you with the botanical family of foods, so that even if you may not have one specific food in your country you will be able to find a family of that food that provides you with similar nutritional benefits.

So for example:

- Did you know that breadfruit, jackfruit, fig, white mulberry and black mulberry are all from the same botanical family?

- How about the benefits of seaweed? Did you know that “seaweed can be used to season foods in place of salt with the added benefit that it contains less sodium” and more magnesium, calcium and iodine?

- Did you know that it prevents goiter (goitre), is a natural antacid, increases your metabolic rate and prevents obesity?

I bet you think that you know all there is to know about fish? Well, did you know that eating fish liver and fish eggs are toxic for you and dangerous to your health? Fish liver contains large amounts of vitamin A in the form of retinol, as opposed to provitamin A from plants (which is the good Vitamin A).

- Did you also know that fish without scales are the most dangerous to your health? These fish types include shark, catfish, eels, lamprey and swordfish.

“Gladstar profiles 33 of the most common and versatile healing plants and then shows you exactly how to grow, harvest, prepare, and use them. Stock your home medicine chest with safe, all-natural, low-cost herbal preparations, and enjoy better health!”

Healing Foods Secret No. 2

I have to admit that Volume II is my favourite of the 3 Volumes. It includes 19 chapters that speak separately about foods for each part of the body; Foods for the Eyes, Foods for the Arteries, Foods for the Stomach, Foods for the Reproductive System, etc.

It’s my favourite ‘go-to’ resource for any part of my body system that I think needs boosting or healing. Knowing specifically which foods help which exact functions and parts of the body is the 2nd Secret to perfect bodily health!

Sometimes I hear people say things like, “But I eat a lot of this or that food!” However, the real question to ask oneself is “Is that particular food what MY body needs a lot of right now?

So for example, eating copious amounts of seaweed would do very well for a person who is suffering from goiters (goitres). However, someone who suffers from hypertension or has excessive thyroid function (hyperthyroidism) should use seaweed sparingly. It is the same food, but would have different effects on these two (2) different people with different health conditions.

Without this knowledge, a hypertensive person may come to a very wrong general conclusion that seaweed is bad for you.

Did you also know that “a variety of studies conducted by Harvard University show that men who regularly eat fresh tomato, as well as tomato sauce or juice, are at much lower risk of prostate cancer"?

And as you may well know already, prostate cancer is one of the leading cancers among men worldwide. What about mangoes? Did you also know that eating fresh mangoes nourishes your skin, prevents premature aging, protects your arteries and improves blood circulation? That’s because it contains high doses of Vitamins A, C and E, which are three (3) of the most powerful antioxidant vitamins.

Healing Foods Secret No. 3

Knowing WHICH foods to cook or not cook, as well as HOW to prepare each type of food in order to capture all of its nutritional goodness and maximize your nutritional intake with each bite is the 3rd and most potent Secret to perfect bodily health!

Volume III provides you with a short breakdown of the benefits and drawbacks of each type of cooking style - au gratin, baking, roasting, blanching, boiling, steaming, frying, microwaving, pressure cooking, sauting, simmering, stewing – as well as healthy cooking tips.

Of all the cooking methods covered, you’ll soon discover that steaming is one of the best methods since the flavour and texture of foods are preserved and the least amount of nutrients are lost from your foods. That I why early o’clock - as we would say - I invested in one of the best food steamers, in order to ensure that my food is always cooked just right and maintains all of its nutritional goodness.

There’s even a very handy section on types of cutlery, table setting, seating, serving and correct behaviour at the table.

There’s also an entire chapter of transition recipes for those thinking about moving away from a meat diet to vegetarianism.

Then the other 19 chapters of this volume are filled with delicious and healthy vegetarian recipes.

What is different and extremely useful about this collection of recipes is that they are organized based on which part of the body system they best serve. So, for example, there is a chapter on Recipes for the Nervous System, one on Recipes for the Heart, another on Recipes for the Urinary Tract and yet another on Recipes for Cancer Prevention.

So you see I kept my promise! Didn’t I tell you this book set has it ALL when it comes to ‘Foods & Their Healing Power’?

We need to eat every day of our lives and we also need nutrition every day of our lives, so an investment in this 3 volume book set is a clear win-win for any human being in any part of the world!

Dairy products and wheat bother me, but I like the taste. One thing I've found critical for nutrition is being clear about which foods I am sensitive to, that I should minimize or avoid. All three tips you share above are excellent, although it requires dedication to research and learn this.

I love seaweeds but I have allergies on this. So I limit myself on this. Sundae ;-)

@TanoCalvenoa: They really taste great TanoCalvenoa, that's the hard part. I figure I have only one body so that is why I take the time to research what is right for me and what I am sensitive to. I am really hoping that I can encourage you and others to do the research (it's all in one place with this 3 Volume book set) because when you lose your health, you lose everything. Continue to enjoy the Easter season!

Pineapple juice, orange juice and grapefruit juice will give me heartburn. but eating the fruit itself is just fine. but it has to be limited. Mandarin oranges are less acidic, so I can eat more of them.
