4 Steps that Creates Maximum Momentum

Updated on March 3, 2016

The Momentum Changes When You Get M.A.D.D.

In order, for you to get a tremendous jump start of momentum in your life. You must first realize that nothing will ever change until you go within and find one of the most powerful emotions ever granted unto man. That is the emotion of anger!

Finding something that makes you M.A.D.D will do more for your journey of success than anything else known to man. Why? Because the emotion of anger when properly focused is a wonderful and divine gift that can help you fuel your hopes, dreams, and goals.

Once again, nothing will change in your life until you get M.A.D.D. (Motivated, Active, Direct, and Determined). M.A.D.D., an acronym for abundant living

If we are going to create the maximum amount of momentum to jump start whatever the “it” is in our lives you must have a strong desire to make it happen. Finding something to motivate you is the key. It’s alright to begin by asking some deep questions. What is it that just makes me down right upset? What do I want to change? Will I be able to go through that again?

After making those personal inquiries if they cause you to get angry, it’s OK! However, I am not talking about rage and disgust, that’s non-productive. I am talking about properly directed anger. The anger that makes you say, “I think that I can do it better or I believe I am the one chosen to do something about that.” It could be that you are mad at an injustice that you see or it could be something that you just simply want to achieve. All of those feelings are clues; you have got to get M.A.D.D about changing you.

For Martin Luther King it was the injustice of a people. With Rosa Parks it was riding in the back of the bus. Sadly, with the organization Mothers against Drunk Drivers (MADD) it was the loss of love ones due to relaxed laws concerning driving while intoxicated. Whatever the “it” is you have got to find something that gets you moving!

Once you find out what makes you mad you will found the "it" that you are placed on this planet to work on. Just explore what's going on around you at this moment. There is something that just gets your blood boiling. That's it! now get motivated.

Whatever it may be, if you find out that it makes you M.A.D.D. you have just found a way to get motivated. Momentum by its nature requires a lot upfront push to get the ball rolling.

People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed, and the more they find a way to succeed. Similarly, when someone is failing, the tendency is to get on a downward spiral that can even become a self-fulfilling prophecy. ~Tony Robbins

There is a passage in one of my favorite books that states “faith without works renders faith that is dead.” Momentum will never get jump started with just a hope, a dream, and a prayer. Nothing will change your present situation until you began to create some activity. Creating activity may be as simple as getting a pencil and pad, joining an association, making a speech, or changing your habits.

Being M.A.D.D. is all about getting active and using your emotions appropriately. Mothers against drunk drivers began to create activity by lobbying legislators. Rosa Parks created activity when she refused to move to another seat on the bus. Martin Luther King created by asking members of the church to march in the streets with him.

Take a serious look at how divine Intelligence has wired everything in the earth. Everything is in motion, everything is either moving, growing, or being transformed. It’s the same divine order that is in motion when it comes to creating abundant living. Even if you don’t know what you are doing the activity will attract everything you need to achieve the goal. Not only has divine intelligence put all things into motion, divine intelligence has put in you everything you need to create the momentum for an abundant life while on earth. The only thing you need to do is, just get active!

“Perseverance is not a passive submission to circumstances—it is a strong and active response to the difficult events of life.” ~ Elizabeth George

Having the proper aim in life is a key element to success. When you get direct about where you want to go in life it will save you time. Definite aim will not only keep you focused, direct aim helps you manage your potential. There is no time to waste good potential on bad practices. Negative forces in life will succumb to you when it detects that you know where you are going. Les Brown says, that most people fail in life because they aim to low. They have direction, but they are going the wrong way.

Often times we use the emotion of anger the wrong way simply because the anger is not properly directed. Martin Luther King wanted to fight against the laws of discrimination. So he used his madness in a strategic, appropriate, and methodical manner. If you want to change your life, you need to create a strategic, appropriate, and methodical momentum. Many times wide, low, and misguided aiming will lead to an unproductive life of mediocrity.

Get direct with yourself, today! The best way to get some direction with your vision is by sitting down and having a real-talk conversation with you. Then, get started with writing the vision down on paper. Finally, regardless of where you are today, begin to speak life into your situation by saying;

  • I will complete this assignment!
  • College is in my future.
  • I will open the doors to my business, soon!
  • My life is wonderful.
  • I am blessed!
  • I know what I want to accomplish.

Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. ~Thomas Edison

There is a disclaimer to all of the M.A.D.D. process of creating momentum. Being M.A.D.D. is hard work! You going to have to take everything you want in life. Whenever you decide to move to a another level in life with maximum momentum, it is one of the hardest things you will ever do; But it is worth it!

Therefore, your determined mind is necessary. Deciding to be successful and living the life of abundance takes all you got, it's a daily struggle. But, hang in there because you got what it takes to carry you all the way. Whenever you begin fine tuning your vision, releasing the mental brakes, and refusing to live in mediocrity you will need to pack plenty of determination.

So start today, by saying to yourself, "I am determined to create maximum momentum in my life." Secondly, say, "I am going to become doggedly, undaunted, and determined to live abundantly."

When it comes to creating momentum and getting the best out of your life a determine mind is imperative. In fact, there is nothing scientifically discovered or humanely practiced that will give you the ability to see your vision through other than having the determination to make it happen.

Each one of the individuals that I have talked about had a determined mind to change the culture, change the environment, and change the status quo. They became so M.A.D.D., so fed up, and so appropriately frustrated that it gave them the fuel they needed to make the change. With that type of momentum they not only jump started momentum in their own lives, they jump started momentum in the lives of others.

“The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.” ~Barack Obama

  • The development of a STRATEGIC PLAN.
  • A sustainable awareness of PURPOSE.
  • Gain an appreciation for PREPARATION.

Once again, nothing will change in your life until you get M.A.D.D. (Motivated, Active, Direct, and Determined). M.A.D.D., an acronym for abundant living
