The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman by Tim Ferriss

Updated on April 18, 2013

Is it any good?

Tim Ferriss has a new book out: 4 Hour Body. Tim Ferriss is a lifestyle designer who experiments on himself and then shares his experiences. He is famous for his 4 Hour Work Week book which shows you how to work less (a lot less) and live more. Tim Ferriss's new book is "a minimalist guide to hacking the human body". Tim has been experimenting on himself and in this book he shares the results and tells us what works.

The full book title is: The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman. The guy knows how to pack a lot into a title! And on the evidence of his previous book, he knows how to pack a lot into the book itself too.

The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated: Expanded and Updated, With Over 100 New Pages of Cutting-Edge Content. - by Tim Ferriss

I read Tim Ferris's 4-hour work week in early 2010. I was very skeptical, but actually I liked it a lot. It's full of practical advice that you can put into action so you can spend less time working and more time living.

I didn't want exactly the life that Tim was advocating - I have two young kids and a job that I actually enjoy. But I did get a lot from it and it did change my world view. I learned some things that have helped me be more effective.

Definitely worth the money. So I expect Tim's new book to be of value too.

I just got the book and I have enjoyed it so far. But I was a big fan of the Four Hour Work Week and Tim's blog. Good lens.

Sounds good - I haven't had a chance to read the 4 hour work week but I like the idea behind it - it's definitely time people started rethinking the way they live.
