5 Interesting Ways to Help you Wake up in the Morning
I Love Saturday morning's because I can get up when I choose to wake up. I hate waking up Monday through Friday and that is the honest truth. When my alarm start to screech in my ear, the only thing I want to do is take a SMASH that clock to pieces!
I decided to come up with 5 ways to help motivate you in the morning!
The first way is to plan your day before you go to bed.
Planning the following day before you go to bed will help you to take control of your day. There's nothing worse than waking up late and trying to find your shoes, iron your clothes, and prepare coffee at the last minute.
If you plan your day before you go to bed, you can always have your lunch already ready, your clothes prepared, and the only thing you will have to do is wake up, get your clothes on, and head for the door.
Preparation will always cause your mornings to move a lot smoother. It eliminates that constant rushing for this and that. Procrastination makes morning ten times worse.
You defeat Procrastination with Preparation!
If you have home work to do, try not to wait until the morning because you will then have to cram all kinds of stuff into a small space of time.
Do your best to take care of your responsibilities the night before, so that you can enjoy a calm peaceful morning the following day.
Secondly plan a nice breakfast for yourself.
What better way to motivate someone to get up in the morning then with food. The night before you can prepare a nice breakfast for yourself, so that you wake up with eager excitement.
Maybe you can go to the store and buy your favorite cereal, and in the morning you will be bubbling with anticipation, instead of looking like a stunt double from the Walking Dead.
Set a Motivational Speaker as your Alarm Clock!
Who needs energy drinks when you have Eric Thomas Screaming in your ear! I mean seriously, Eric Thomas is like Rock Stars on Steroids.
"Everybody wants to be a beast, until it’s time to do what real beasts do."
I wake up feeling like the Rock some days. Give it a try, go on YouTube and download your favorite motivational video, and every morning you wake up you'll feel like your back in summer boot camp.
Fourthly Set your alarm far from you.
A lot of times you are not as tired as you think. If you would just get out of bed you will feel a thousand times better. Our bodies like to persuade us to stay in bed.
“My Mind is telling me yeaa, but my body, my body is telling me nooo”. Me singing in my best R Kelly voice.
A trick I like to use is placing my alarm far enough from me so that I will have to get up physically and turn it off. If all you have to do is roll over in bed and turn off your alarm, you will hit the snooze button a million and one times.
Trust me when I say this. If my alarm is right next to me, I will snooze over and over again, until the last possible moment.
Try placing your alarm a nice distance away so that you will have to get out of bed to turn it off.
Have an accountability partner.
This is a great way to help motivate you in the morning. Have one of your best friends call you at the time you’re supposed to be up to hold you accountable
It's easy for us to convince ourselves every day why not to get up, but if you have one of your close friends call you, they will help encourage you to get up in the morning.
Accountability partners are a great way to help keep you on your toes. When you snooze your alarm and think you’re in the clear, here comes an incoming call from Johnny.
Accountability partners are great in all kinds of areas of life, but especially to help you get up in the morning. If you can start your mornings off the right way, you will more than likely have a great rest of your day.
