5 Tips for Losing Weight Quickly

Losing weight can be a long, laborious process. We all know that we have to eat fewer calories and exercise more frequently, but many people get frustrated by how long it can take to see results. While there is no way to get around diet and exercise when it comes to weight loss, there are a few tips that can help to expedite the process. Try some of these suggestions to help you lose weight more quickly.

#1 Only Drink Water After Breakfast

Most people only consider the calories they consume from their food; however, many, many people consume an enormous amount of calories through beverages. Coffee drinks, juices, sodas, and teas all contain calories and are often loaded with sugar. To expedite your weight loss, try and get your calories only through your food. One way to do this is to allow yourself to drink coffee and orange juice in the morning, but after breakfast, to limit yourself to only water. Try this for a couple of weeks and see if it helps.

Bottom Line: Try to limit or eliminate beverage calories.

#2 Write Down Everything You Eat for a Week

If you do not understand where all of your calories are coming from, trying writing down everything you eat for a week. Make sure to record every beverage and every snack. Doing so will help you find areas where you can shave off calories and maximize your weight loss.

Bottom Line: Writing down everything you eat can help you to find areas for cutting calories.

#3 Do Not Eat Until Your Stomach Growls

This suggestion may not be much fun, but it works. Many of us eat when we do not really need to, causing us to forget the sensation of actual hunger. Make sure that you eat three solid meals, but if you want a snack, wait and see if your stomach growls. If your stomach growls, you are actually hungry and could use a snack. If your stomach does not growl, you may actually just crave the taste of food, but you do not need the calories.

Bottom Line: Try and determine when you are and are not actually hungry.

#4 Walk Up and Down Stairs Each Day

We know that exercising is important, but a lot of people have trouble sticking with an exercise regimen, or finding time to fit exercise into their already busy schedules. While finding a consistent exercise regimen is important, you also can make small lifestyle adjustments to burn more calories throughout the day. One suggestion is to stop using elevators; whenever there is an elevator available, take the stairs instead. This will help you to increase your heart rate and burn more calories every day.

Bottom Line: Find small ways to increase your exercise each day.

#5 Take Garcinia Cambogia

There are a lot of weight loss supplements on the market, but Garcinia Cambogia, a tropical plant, has shown to be effective at promoting weight loss. Garcinia Cambogia can inhibit the body’s ability to make fat and thereby reduce the overall body fat percentage. Try adding this supplement to limit your overall fat levels.

Bottom Line: Try taking a Garcinia Cambogia supplement to decrease your total body fat.
