7 Day Diet for Fast Weight Loss
Seven day weight loss programs are perfect for special events or ﬁtting into the new dress. These diets are only meant to be followed for seven days with at least two weeks in between.
Seven Day Example
The cabbage soup diet is one example of a seven day diet program. You are promised to lose about 10 pounds in one week as long as you follow the guidelines set in place. As previously stated, these diets are only meant to be used for week long increments and after you are ﬁnished, a steady sensible diet should be followed regularly. However; these programs can help for events where you want to look your best.
These programs are not great ways for people to ﬁght obesity. Obesity has very strong negative effects on your body, it is important to use a very health oriented dieting program to ﬁght off large amounts of weight that can strongly affect your body.
Most Seven Day Programs
The average seven day program has a day by day schedule and many of them are close to if not the same as others. Here is an example of a day by day seven day program schedule. This is speciﬁcally the cabbage soup, seven day program.
The Cabbage Soup Program
On day one you eat as many fruits as you would like (except bananas) and cabbage soup. Don't drink sweetened juices or sodas. You're better off sticking with water. On the second day you will need to eat as many vegetables as you can handle. The greener they are the better you are. Also, don't eat dried beans, corn or peas. Once again have some soup, with as many vegetables as you would like, and a baked potato for dinner. On day three you are going to eat both vegetables and fruits, like you are mixing day one and two, only this time no baked potato. Day four will be ﬁlled with bananas and milk along with your soup. Make sure not to eat any other fruits or vegetables on day four. The fourth day is speciﬁcally to help you learn to say no to your sweet tooth’s cravings.
This brings you up to be half way through the week. Now for day ﬁve you can have some meat. This day allows you to have either skinless chicken or beef. Pay attention to how much though, because you are only allowed ten to twenty ounces. You are also allowed up to six tomatoes and one serving of soup. On the sixth day you are allowed as much beef and vegetables as you want with one serving of soup. One of the two beef days, you can substitute it with broiled ﬁsh. The seventh and ﬁnal day you will be eating brown rice, at least one serving of soup and drinking unsweetened fruit juice.
This diet can help to lose weight quickly over a one week course, but should not be continued regularly. There are also many other programs that can be researched if this one does not appeal to you.
