Learn about Chakras

Chakras are energy centres. When they are blocked you are likely to feel under the weather, over emotional, you may suffer from headaches or just feel that you are not ready to face the world. When they are balanced you will will feel full of energy, be enthusiastic and feel that life is treating you very well indeed.

Your chakras are in need of regular balancing and care. This can be done in many different ways, one way is meditaiton, simply visulise each chakra and its relevant colour, imagine them spinning round fast and clearning out any negative energy or blockages. Another method is to use chakra balancing stones. Lay down placing a stone on the relevant chakra, spend a few minutes relaxing and taking in deep breaths. If you do this every day for 3 days you will start to feel the benefit.

How chakras work

Chakra is a concept referring to wheel-like vortices which, according to traditional Indian medicine, are believed to exist in the surface of the etheric double of man. The Chakras are said to be "force centres" or whirls of energy permeating, from a point on the physical body, the layers of the subtle bodies in an ever-increasing fan-shaped formation (the fans make the shape of a love heart). Rotating vortices of subtle matter, they are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies. Seven major chakras or energy centres (also understood as wheels of light) are generally believed to exist, located within the subtle body. Practitioners of Hinduism and New Age Spirituality believe the chakras interact with the body's ductless endocrine glands and lymphatic system by feeding in good bio-energies and disposing of unwanted bio-energies. You can learn all about how the 7 chakras work and how when they are unblanaced it can effect both your health and spiritual being.

The Astral Body

The astral body is also known as the emotional body and is the carrierof feelings, emotions and character traits. It occupies the same space as teh physical body. The higher the developed person the brighter and clearer the astral body will appear.

Human Aura

The aura of the astral body has an oval form and may extend several yards beyon and around a person. Every change in emotion is radiated out into tthe aura by the astral body. This takes place primarily through the chakras and to a small extent through the pores. The emotional aura is contantly in motion. The emotional aura is contantly in motion. Beside the fundamental and relatively stready character traits, which will be visible as constant, basic colour in the aura, the astral body also mirrors every momentary feeling, and all emotions even fleeting ones.

The energy vibrations which we send out attract the same vibrations from our environment and unite with them. This means that we are frequently confronted with precisely the peopl and circumstances that mirror what we are consciously avoiding or want to be rid of or what we fear. In this way our environment serve us as a mirror which shows us all the elements we have banned from our consciousness into our subconscious. Unresolved feelings in our astral body are anxous to stay alive and if possible to increase. This can often lead us into situtaitons time and time again that will entail repetion of the orginal emotional vibrations.

Law of Attraction

If a person carries unresolved fear within him, he will frequently attract situtations which confirm this very fear. For example should someone harbour aggression then he is likely to come across people who live out their anger and agressiona again and again. If emotional problems are not resolved they will continue to exist throughout successive incarnations, since the astral body survives physical dealth and will join a new physical body after reincarnation.

How to Balance your chakras

learn how to tell which chakra is out of balance

You can do a chakra assessment:

a) Using your Hands

b) Using a Pendulum (Dowsing)

Place your pendulum over each chakra and ask your pendulum for its: direction, size and speed.

Construct your own or use a Chakra chart to determine on which chakra to work on, if it is balanced, under or over energized.

In the same manner you can determine if or what stones or colours may be needed. Go through each of the chakras and make sure that you construct your questions in a way that they can always be answered with a YES or NO.

It is not necessary to do the assessment over the client's body. It can be done over the palm as well. The first chakra can be assessed over the wrist, the second at the thumb, the third over the middle finger, the fourth over a small finger, the fifth over the index finger, the sixth over the ring finger and finally the seventh chakra over the palm.
