A Century of Scam

Updated on March 3, 2013

Does a Scam Affect Our Children?

Or at Least Their Health?
Or at Least Their Health? | Source

It has nearly been a whole century since 1945 when, without any health studies having been carried out, big industry started to push for the use of fluoride.

They did this because, instead of having to spend millions of dollars on the disposal of this industrial toxic waste, they could actually make money by selling it.

Fluoride is a toxic waste, a by-product of both the phosphate fertilizer industry and the aluminum steel industry.

Fluoride was heavily promoted by the media as something that could help in the regular health of teeth by acting to help in the process of renewing the enamel. Although this may be true to some degree, no studies carried out since have shown any substantial difference between those people who used fluoride and those that didn’t, only a slight improvement.

Side Effects

Even if it is accepted that fluoride was good for your teeth, it is usual for any medication to be fully described to a user. This means that the good that a product can do for your health, as well as any side effects should also be fully described. In the case of fluoride this never seems to happen.

According to studies, the side effects of fluoride are numerous.

Thirty four independent studies link fluoride to reduced IQ.

Dozens of studies link fluoride to impaired learning and memory.

Other studies link fluoride to altered neurobehavioral behavior, fetal brain damage and altered thyroid hormone levels.

Big industry is trying to push fluoride as a nutrient, yet you will never see any recommended daily dosage level prescribed, as with other health benefits, why?

When asked, the CDC and the FDA, say they are not promoting the use of fluoride, so do not supply figures.

Even when something is recognized as being good for your health, it is usual for maximum quantities to be recommended but again this is not in the case with fluoride.

Now, in some cities and districts in the United States, fluoride is being added to all the water supplies. What happened to our rights to decide on whether we take medication (if it is that) or not?

The argument put forward is that we do not have to drink the water.

This may be true, despite the inconvenience but what about the sodas or juices we drink? What is used in the restaurants we eat at? What of all the products we buy that use this water or are cleaned in this water?

We are told this is irrelevant because a minimal amount is added to the water. What is a minimal amount?

A study carried out by the UNICEF concluded that a reduction in IQ was found with a fluoride level of just 0.88mg/l. This is a level well below that considered to be a minimal level and today over 200 million Americans have levels higher than this added to their water supplies.

Fluoride has also been linked to Iodine deficiency in children.

The number of children in the US with Iodine deficiency is on the increase and today 12% of all American children suffer from this ailment.

Big Money

So why is this allowed to happen?

Well as is increasingly more usual in today’s society, it is the money not the people or their health that matters.

When Dr. Chester Douglas a Professor at Harvard Dental School in 2001, was presented in a paper by one of his students, Elise Bassin, a direct link between fluoride and bone cancer in adolescent boys, he omitted it from the paper before passing it in. Did the fact that Douglas was on the payroll of the Colgate-Palmolive Company, have had anything to do with this?

Harvard were going to investigate this matter but decided against it after receiving a US$2 million donation from Douglas.

It has been speculated that the elitists, made up of big bankers and multi national industrialists who are supposed to really be running America, want the population to take as much fluoride as possible, why?

We already know that instead of having to spend large amounts of money to dispose of this toxic waste, by misleading the populace, they can make profit from it but some say, that more important than that is the fact that fluoride is known to be a pacifier. That is to say, that people who take fluoride are less likely to protest or defy what is happening around them.

So, never mind your health, as long as they can lower your IQ, so you don’t understand what is going on and just in case you do, keep you docile, then that is all that matters.

When is it that the American people will once and for all, tell their politicians that they do not want to be manipulated by big money?

They stand by and watch their children get killed in wars that only succeed in making the wealthy, richer.

They stand by and watch their children become sick, in order to save the wealthy from spending their money.

Could it be that the calming and subduing effects of fluoride have been drastically under estimated, even by the elitists?

Perhaps though, things are just going according to their plans.

Oops, water is fluoridized in Ireland. Still, I don't drink tap water - boiling enhances sedimentation, this probably means, it reduces the fluoride content; I've also used filters. I didn't use fluoridized water before, I don't see any difference now, although my fluid intake is as high as always, more than four liters a day.

If you drink anything you drink fluoride, even milk has some water in it, everything besides straight rain water has fluoride in it so don't kid yourself.

Fluoride does help prevent tooth decay, but like a lot of things, it may be good in some ways, but harmful in other areas.

I'm not too concerned about a little fluoride in my city water and in my toothpaste, albeit if people would quit shoving pies & twinkies down their face and stop consuming massive amounts of sucrose (table sugar), maybe there wouldn't be a dental problem amid society.

When I factor in pollution, food additives, radiation and other things that are going on right now - whether the FDA is involved or not - Fluoride is toward the back of the list. By the way, my IQ is just fine; ha! Either way, it is still a good subject to debate, as the negative effects of Fluoride need to be known...

But the brain never absorbs your Big Mac, even from your gums, unless you rehearse ;)

rafken..Marketing has played a big part in the intro of many things..and we fall right into it..fluoride, gluten, preservatives, artifical sweetners, additives which are foreign to our bodies..and over the years they take their toil on our systems, both physical and mental. We assume because FDA approves it is ok..when in fact it may never have undergone any studies ( especially long term). Profit is the bottom line in our society, so we actually have become a " disposable" society and reproduce, so what's the problem ? Sending letters to reps in gov't..point..everybody has their hand in the till. We need to start taking charge/responsibilty for our health and welfare and stop blindly trusting/depending on others..I speak from experience..good for you for bringing this issue to public attention..informative/interesting..thanks for sharing..

As far as I know, fluoride is not a substance required for INTRAcellular balance within the nervous system. The environment of the human nervous system is strict in specificity, therefore fluoride is redundant, unnecessary.

I've found out it may be absorbed from the EXTRAcellular, however. I wouldn't drink fluoride, I'm afraid.

The wealthy and the wealthy CIA drink water too - one may assume. I didn't know you didn't have choice about fluoride in America. I wouldn't use a toothpaste without it, but I wouldn't drink toothpaste. I'll research on fluoride effects.

Fluoride being in toothpaste is probably more worrying than it being in water, research into not cleaning your teeth shows how bacteria can make it's way straight to the brain by being absorbed through the gums and can often cause headaches - but what about fluoride straight to the brain??!!

Yes, I do but yesterday it was the first so let me clarify the comment made by ib radmaster in which they (he/she/it) claim it is the first they have heard of fluoride being used to dummy us down.

Surely, you mean the second comment?

The first comment is all the proof anyone needs that the fluoride is working, for anyone to admit that they don't know that fluoride is detrimental to ones health shows that the conditioning is working.

Fluoride leads to calcification of the Pineal Gland which Descartes described as the 'Seat of the Soul'. Go to my article Pineal Gland the God Organ to learn more

Ever try to buy toothpaste without fluoride in it?

Fluoride is a slow killer like many of the unhealthy practices forced on the public but it is the leading cause of autism in children.

Sheryl Crow recently claimed that her cell phone use lead to a her brain tumor, all cell phones emit radiation but in such low levels that only prolonged use could lead to health risks . . . how long have you been drinking fluoride water and using fluoride toothpaste?

BTW I'm linking this article to my Pineal Gland article which has recently gone Hub Viral!

This is the first that I heard of it.

It is a good thing that we have the FDA to protect us. lol
