A Day to Remember for Every Day We Live

Updated on April 8, 2012

Dear God,

Today is a day of miracles – well, one in particular. More than 2000 years ago, Your one Son that is known the world over rose from the dead, to be an example of the strength of Your Spirit in us and of what eternal life is like. Within the very act of rising from the dead, He came to show us the true embodiment of our deepest empowerment.

Within the very essence of Who He Truly Was, He exemplified a reflection of Who We Truly Are as individuals as well. For, as you know, we are all the same under the “see level”. We are all only true reflections of Him and of You. We are of the same spirit, the same essence, as the very Almighty and the Son of God Himself. We are individual part of the One Eternal Being.

Why then, why, would we choose any other hearsay, any explanation from any other being about our own empowerment? Why would we choose to struggle and to suffer and to walk in such darkness when in Truth, we know that “pain is inevitable and suffering is optional”? Why do we feel the need to struggle, the illusion that we don’t “deserve” better than what we have? What makes us think that we have to constantly choose to keep from aspiring to our highest greatness? Your Spirit, Your Wisdom, and the Strength and Empowerment You gave us overrides the inaccurate drivel we were taught to believe in about ourselves as children. We are important, we do have worth, we do have a purpose, we are talented and beautiful and perfect exactly as we are. Perfection is not a lack of flaws. It is the acceptance and self-worth we achieve when we see the beauty in our innate greatness and when we can love and embrace every bit of our humanness, exactly as we are.

So, God, in all Your Goodness and Compassion, I am humbly asking you this day to help us to remember to live out of our hearts and our spirits, rather than from the limitations of our minds. Help us to learn to live “out of our minds” in order to continue to strive towards the innate greatness you so graciously bestowed upon us. We can strive, we can achieve, and we can attain whatever we so desire if we would only believe. So shall it be…

Happy Easter, everyone – May God truly bless us all!

I am a day late, but lovely sentiments for Easter. I enjoyed your hub and hope you had a wonderful Easter, as I did.
