A New Year Full of Resolutions!
The year is ending and now is the time where we plan for our new year is approaching. On January first, we make goals and promises to ourselves that usually never make it into the February. The reason for not fulfilling our resolutions is because we don't start small. Well with this full year plan, not only will you create healthy habits that will help you feel better, but know the feeling of accomplishing a New Year's Resolution.
Instead of a 12 month long resolution, split up into 12 month long resolutions. Think about taking on a small project, it is easier to spit it up into steps and jobs instead of tackling the project as a whole. The same concept applies. If you would like to become healthier, then make a health goal for every month. That way you don't have to say goodbye to carbs forever, just for 30 days! This plan can be modified in many ways to fit the resolution you want!

Will This Work?
Ever heard that it takes 3 weeks to make a habit? Well after a whole month that habit should at the very least be introduced into your daily routine. The most important part of this approach is to see benefits to your health and or lifestyle after the month and hopefully you will continue that habit. Doesn't mean you can never have that candy bar again, but now you know how it makes you feel and maybe not have one everyday.
After achieving your goal every month, reward yourself. Didn't do fast food that month? Grab a Jamba Juice as your reward. This way you have something to look forward to. At the end of your year give yourself the grand prize!
