ABC's of Self-Realization: Dedicated to Deliberate Intention

Updated on September 6, 2013

Most of us remember the childhood game “Hide and Seek”. The whole idea is to close our eyes, count to 100 and then find the people who tried really hard to hide in a place they would “never” be found. The premise of the title of this article is to walk in deliberate awareness and intention for our lives, with our eyes wide open. Too many years are spent walking around with our eyes wide shut, not conscious of our purpose.

It is this author's belief that we are all born with a purpose. We all have intentions, dreams, and goals. The main goal in life is to delve into our souls' intention and to focus on that on a daily basis - to be deliberate in that intention, to seek that course with conscious awareness.

Deliberate intention refers to living life to the fullest. This means becoming aware that we have the Divine Right as human beings to attract all that our heart desires. It means living from the highest part of our deepest soul. It means understanding that our life is not in vain. It means learning to love ourselves in an emotionally healthy way and to express that same love to others.

Deliberate intention is about realizing that we can choose to avoid an agenda about every outcome. It’s about going with the flow. It means that we understand the Law of Cause and Effect – we get out of life exactly what we put into it. We need to focus on positive thoughts, positive actions, and the positive belief that we will draw into our lives whatever it is that we focus on.

So much of life is thought to be difficult to so many people, yet the truth is that much of life is very simple. It’s all about our attitude. It’s about the fact that we CREATE what we see in the results of our choices by choosing not to REACT to them. “Create” and “react” are the same words, only the letters are transposed. It’s about the transposing of our minds. This way, we realize that we have control over how the results of our choices affect us. Nothing and nobody has ANY control over us, except what we allow them.

Deliberate intention is the way of the self-realized person. It’s the highest choice, the highest thought, the highest act, the highest word, the highest reflection of the most Divine, God-part of us. This is what our purpose in life was meant to be.

HI HBN! Thanks for the thoughts!I guess my intention was recognized because I wanted to let people know that attitude transforms everything. My other intention was to let people know that we reap what we sow, we can't get back real love from others unless we have it for ourselves. I am so glad you saw my intention! :) I agree with your last sentence, too, by the way!

Great hub with an aura of empowerment and positivity. Thanks for sharing this sage advice. I agree that though we have no control over the events that happen to us, we have total control of the way we react to them and that is what determines the outcome. It took me a long time to fully grasp that fact, but once I did, everything in life seemed easier.
