The degree of benefits ALKALINE WATER can have on your health HITS A HOMERUN

Updated on December 13, 2012

Alkaline water has been touted as the kind of water that is naturally found in fresh fruits and vegetables.

Even so,I would think twice about the fruits and vegetables bought and how and where they were grown.I would like to know for sure if they were grown under the best conditions possible and make sure they were free of pesticides and any other toxins weather from the water or soil. Short of this I would at least make sure that the water I took into my body was as pure and healthy as humanly possible.

Many people today feel the same way I'm sure of that!

That's why I'm writting this hub about Ionized water!

There are two kinds of Ionized water. Positively Ionized and Negatively Ionized water.

Negatively charged Ionized water molecules with one hydrogen atom and one oxygen atom have an extra electron due to the Ionization process and one less hydrogen atom.

These Negatively charged Ionized molecules group together in a hexigonal shape due to having one less hydrogen atom.

It,also has less surface tension and more permiability than plain tap or distilled water

Distilled water which many of us equate with soft water due to the lack of minerals within it has more suface tension than tap water or mineral water..This is due to the minerals acting as electrolytes.Just as salt -which is alkaline acts as an electrolyte which is used in what are called dry cell batteries.

Acids also act as electrolytes. One example is the sulfuric acid in a car battery.Extreme alkalinity or acidity can burn your skin.or any other body part.

They can cancel each other out,if they are equal in strength.Yet both can harm you when they are in concentrated form.

You probably know that you shouldn't put distilled water in an Iron or microwave oven as the distilled water can and likely will absorbe more heat than plain tap water which boils at 220 degrees farenheit.

People have actually burned themselves heating water or water containing foods that were put into a microwave oven for too long. What happens is the water's surface tension gives way unexspectedly as you go to remove it from the microwave oven.and can seriously burn the water tension breaks suddenly and violently. It,can burn your face.Don't try to do this at home. You will regret it.

Negatively Ionized water has a PH level between 8.5 and 10

It,has little surface tension somewhat like mineralized water does ,but without any minerals in it.

Negatively Ionized water is Alkaline in nature.

Positively Ionized water is acid in nature.

Our bodies require negatively Ionized ALKALINE water to stay healthy as the foods we eat usually meats cause our body to be acidic, which can decompose our tissues as well as the meats and other foods we eat.

Alkaline water balances the acid in our bodies out and helps remove toxins caused by undigested food in the intestines and toxins in the rest of our body.

.You have probably heard of the symtoms of an acidic body.muscle pain ,weakness, athrithis, acid reflux, headaches, intestinal pain from gas ,skin problems,etc...

I'm not a doctor, but I think I know when my body is seriously in need of a doctor.

      This is very good information.

I have been drinking acidic water for years before realizing I was supposed to be drinking alkaline water instead. And lemon is acidic but become alkaline when combined with water , its so interesting

As far as I know he doesn't. I just thought he would be a great advocate for the water since his famous name comes to mind when your talking about water of this kind.

Hi, I was aware that certain waters were good for you, but not on this scale. I also knew that we had a lot of water in our bodies. But 90pc of our brain? wow. this has certainly changed my way of thinking. thanks for this info. great stuff. cheers nell

You want to know if your friuts and vegatables have nutrents check out this

Using the brix scale you will find most of what is available is rated poor when you use the brix meter.

As far as the water goes there are two ways to measure the effect.

Bioelectrical Body Composition Analyzer (BBCA) Testing. The BBCA is a medically approved device which is registered with the FDA. It is considered one of the most accurate ways of measuring hydration and cell water movement.

Drinking 8 oz. of filtered or spring water, the device will show water movement at the at the cellular level in 45 – 60 minutes (this is considered normal).

Same individuals drink the same 8 ounces of activated water, water movement is shown in as little as 10 minutes.

Activated water is able to penetrate the cells – hydrating, cleansing, and revitalizing at the cellular level.

      Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Testing

The NMR Spectrometer system utilizes the latest digital and high frequency technology. It can be used to measure and record varying frequencies in liquids and solids and is very useful in micro-imaging.

The NMR can be used to show that cluster size of water was reduced by vitalization of the water. Micro-clustered water contains molecules that are smaller and more mobile.

      Has it been tested.
