Advice For People With Low Self-Esteem
People try their hardest to hide their low self-esteem. Sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesn't. Stop thinking about yourself in a horrible way. Think about something that makes you happy. You have to be happy in order to make other people happy. Having a healthy body and mind will boost up your low self-esteem. Exercise and eating healthy will help. Talking to someone about your issues will help give you more confidence about yourself. Just know that you are not alone. People have low self-esteem and it is very common way more than you think. Appearance is one of the main issues that causes this problem. You may think you aren't good looking, but others see the opposite. Stop thinking that way about yourself. If you have had a messed up past, It could be the root of the problem as well. You need to find a solution for the issue. If you don't, it can do more damage to you in the long run. You may not realize it at all, but there is a reason.
You want to be with someone, but you have low self-esteem. You need to figure out the reason first. When you and the person are comfortable enough to talk, explain that you have this issue and why. Help that person understand, so you don't scare them away. They may understand or not. If they can't understand your issues, then they are not the one for you. Some people are close minded and you can't control that. Don't let it effect you and move on. Sometimes it's not meant to be. You will find someone and it will take time. You can't get rid of your low self-esteem quickly. It will take time, so don't rush it.
Friends & Family
If they truly love you, they will take the time to understand. Speak up about it and don't hold it in. Family will always be there to talk rather they are around or not. Your friends are not true friends if they don't take the time to understand. Your job is to explain the issues you are having. You have no choice, because they may find out anyway. Do not keep them in the dark. Losing a friend does suck. Do no let it effect you in a horrible way. Take it as a life lesson that you can learn from. Don't worry about what people think. They will love you as the way you are.
If you think a positive way, it will look good for you in the future. We can not predict it, but we can change what path it goes. Treat yourself to getting a hair cut or new clothes. It will help you move on from what you are going through. If someone is still there for you, then they do care. They are meant to be in your life for a reason. Don't worry and try to live your life stress free. The future will look good for you if you keep trying. Look at life as a positive way.
