Alcoholism - The Road To Nowhere

Updated on August 13, 2013

For people that never had a problem with an alcohol addiction, you should give yourself a huge pat on the back.

For the people that suffer with an alcohol addiction, we need to start to be strong and stand up to our demons within. We need to make some huge changes in our lives if we what to be around on this earth for a longer period of time than if we drank.

These demons are ruining our lives, our families and our health all at one time and they don't care one bit.

In my eyes, alcoholism is the road to nowhere and once you start to go down that road you will find it very difficult to return to sobriety. The longer we abuse alcohol and live each day for a high or drunken state of mind, the harder it's going to be to come clean and sober.

If we all just took a moment of our day and really thought about what we are doing to ourselves and the ones that love and care for us, we just might have a change of heart, and leave our demons behind.

I know from my experience with alcohol that is a horrible thing and it is a very hard addiction to break.

In order to make things change for the better we need to change our outlook on life and start to think Positive. Thinking positive will be the first step to the beginning of a new and healthy life.

This is what worked for me, and I drank everyday for years without fail. There is always hope and if you truly want a better life for yourself and your family, you have to stand up to your alcohol demons and say NO MORE booze for you!

If I could do this I am sure many others with the same problem can achieve sobriety as well. There is only one catch and that is YOU MUST WANT TO QUIT DRINKING ALCOHOL!

The decision is in each individuals hands and you are the ONLY one to make it happen. If you don't want quit drinking alcohol, then there isn't a person or Rehab. Center in the world that will be able to help you.

Granted, if you do go into a Rehab. Center they will give a 110 percent of their knowledge and help, but the thing is, if your not ready to become clean and sober, when you finally get out of treatment, more than likely you might relapse.

You need to want to help yourself first, before anyone can give you the help you need to become clean and sober.

Without the determination and the willingness to stop drinking I think that you might be drinking beer or what ever your choice of drug is for a very long time, in fact, till the end of time.

This Rehab. Center is one of thousands that are here for you and are waiting to give you the help you need to change your life.

As you see in this video, these people are so excited and happy, that their new life is like being born again. They truly wanted to be helped, and they surrendered to their addiction to be helped.

These are just a few people that truly wanted to surrender
