I recently ordered a 2.2 Lb tub of Soursop Puree from Amazon.com, I could not wait to try it! The flavor was very pleasant and very unique. The closest flavors that I could liken it to, is a pineapple, apple, strawberry, banana mix with a strong tanginess. It's a very tropical tasting fruit with a powerful tang to it. What I noticed when I swallowed the first spoonful of the puree which was still partially frozen, I could feel it going down with a slight burning sensation similar to the burn one feels after a shot of whiskey or liquor. I assume that this strong acid/alkaline element of the fruit plays a major role in killing cancer and other harmful cells in the body. It definitely had a pleasant heating effect on my insides. I don't have cancer, but due to my own experience eating it, I do believe that Graviola, Guanabana, Soursop does do what it promises to do for those who do. I will continue eating the fruit not only for the health benefits that is has, but also because it is delicious!
