Peptic, Duodenal, Colon and Intestinal Ulcers Relief
As we all know, ulcers are everywhere. Any break in the skin, which refuses to heal in a normal length of time, is commonly referred to as an ulcer. Most ulcers caused by external trauma such as wounds, lesions, scraps and burns will normally heal over time if kept clean and are exposed to clean air and oxygen.
I'm sure we have all experienced this natural healing process at one time or another in our lifetime.
Ulcers and ulcerations in the mucous membranes are however, a different story. Some of these ulcerations, which are caused systemically, such as mouth ulcers, stomach ulcers and intestinal ulcers sometimes, hang around for an extended period of time. Some even stick around for years, causing the sufferer much pain and discomfort. This is definitely true of stomach, duodenal, colon and intestinal ulcers, which have become so prevalent that a very high percentage of the population will experience these forms of ulcerations during ones life time.
In most cases, these ulcers of the mucous membrane will eventually heal themselves in time. But in the meantime, these ulcers can cause some serious complications, including hemorrhaging, scarring and the obstruction to the normal passage of material and may result in cancer.
That leaves us to deal with the tissue trauma ulcers. But first, lets jump back a little bit to the major cause of these ulcers. We all know, that the number one major cause of this ulcer condition, of the mucous membrane, is STRESS. That still leaves us with the question about what can be done effectively to deal with the STRESS that causes the ulcer in the first place.
Enter Aloe Vera. We can easily show that ulcers of various kinds have been treated with remarkable success using stabilized Aloe Vera. What is also remarkable is that Aloe Vera shows great promise as a systemic balancing agent as a STRESS preventive.
Under strict group testing, "stabilized Aloe Vera" has shown time and time again to lower ulcerations by a convincing 85%, and demonstrates a 50% increase in the healing rate. Additionally, with sever mucous membrane ulcerations and ulcers; there is usually a considerable amount of pain and discomfort. These test show that drinking stabilized Aloe Vera exhibited some considerable capacity to penetrate the skin tissue and alleviate the pain and discomfort, even around bone and joints.
In test after test, stabilized Aloe Vera has shown positive results with complete recovery with all patients, in healing of their ulcers. There can be little doubt that the properties attributed to Aloe Vera should be therapeutically used in the management and the prevention of peptic ulcers.
The "preventive treatment" referred to by the several test groups, include a follow up recovery program, which would be 2-4oz of stabilized Aloe Vera a day.

gicody, Nice informative hub on the uses of Aloe Vera! Thank You for sharing, Peace & Blessings!
Thanks for all these wonderful stories. God bless you all. I'll start taking slow today.
Thanks for replying back. It's been about two weeks now since my husband has been drinking the aloe vera juice. I can tell it's helping with the pain. The sore is still extremely sensitive. Does he need to soak his foot in the aloe vera juice or gel, or does it matter which? His ankle is extremely sensitive so he's nervous to put anything on it. I will encourage him to do what u suggest. Thanks!
Thanks for the report: My husband is 35yrs old and has had several leg ulcers and a couple of surgerys cause the sores wouldn't heal. When a new ulcer shows up it's like a nightmare to our family. He just had one ucler heal and now a his other ankle is really sore like another one is about to open up. We've tried alot of different stuff but the sores are still very slow to heal. I didn't know it was good for sores so this has become interesting. I will go buy some tomorrow and encourage my husband to give it a try. If you know of anything else that could help please let me know. Thanks!
I was wondering if you could tell me who a good supplier is and where I could buy some. I have been suffering from an ulcer for around 6 months and it hasn't been getting better. I keep it pretty well painless with my diet and excercise, but some night are still rough and I would like a different alternative vs taking meds everyday.
Excellent report. When I was first diagnosed with an ulcer, I began eating aloe vera on a regular basis. I wasn't having a lot of success with it because my diet was completely out of whack.
Once I started with a raw foods diet and began blending cabbage juice 4 times a day, I began seeing some serious results.
I'm sure aloe vera works, just when I was trying it at the time, I didn't understand the importance of avoiding specific foods and eating other foods to heal my problem.
Interesting Article. Here in Brazil we have ALoe Vera in out Garden, just growing. We use it for hair treatment, treatment of fire wounds, burnt skin, or we drink some of it to prevent cancer or other inflamations. In my natural products estore I sell pills of aloe vera with great success in germany and USA. They are very very effective.
Congratulation for this very informing article.

Great article. I've been suggesting drinking Aloe Vera Juice & Gel for years to heal GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and a lot of other intestinal syndromes. Aloe not only is healing, but relieves symptoms as it heals. Aloe is also good for the digestion and aids absorption of proteins and minerals.
Thank you again for your information.

I'm still gonna have to try some of that Aloe Vera juice, nice hub! :)
had no idea! i knew the stuff had some good qualities but didn't know it could do all that, ill keep this in mind thanks!
Interesting hub, glad to see there is a natural cure instead of the medications, one of my friend suffers from ulcer, I will bookmark this and send it to him. I use Vaseline lotion on wounds instead of ointments and other stuff, it works like a charm and heals quickly.
I had totally no idea. To be honest, I thought Aloe Vera was just really, really cool for putting on sunburns. My sis-in-law had a plant in her back yard and we broke off a stem one time and smeared it on some burnt sandal feet we got from walking around a car show. Totally awesome. But ulcers too? Fascinating. I can't help wonder how it tastes. Thanks for the info.
