Nutraceutical Provides Relief

Anatabloc, a dietary supplement manufactured by Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals, has become a subject of interest to medical experts. A number of studies were conducted to attest the claim that the main ingredients of Anatabloc are useful in preventing the onset of many chronic illnesses. To decide whether or not Anatabloc is for real, it will be necessary to understand the aftermath of long term inflammation and how it can be dealt with. Anatabloc is also referred to as a nutraceutical. Pharmaceutical companies work to produce synthetic drugs using compounds created in the laboratory to fight disease. A nutraceutical is a food or product of food that is said to provide health and medical benefits, which can include the prevention and treatment of disease. The Rock Creek Pharmaceutical work MAY demonstrate that Anatabloc is superior to synthetic drugs created to reduce inflammation, in particular the drugs known as NSAIDS (Aspirin, Ibuprophen, Naproxen, Feldene...etc.)

Basic Information About Anatabloc

Anatabloc is a dietary supplement known for its anti-inflammatory effect. It contains anatabine, a naturally-occurring compound found in certain plants belonging to the Solanaceae family, as well as vitamins A and D3. The combination of these nutrients influences the body to regulate its own inflammation. A number of studies on the effects of Anatabloc found that it helps fight against chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, urinary tract disorder, coronary artery disease, Alzheimer's, and arthritis.

Anatabloc contains 1 milligram of anatabine base, 500 units of vitamin A, and 40 units of Vitamin D3. It is available over the counter, and can be purchased for $99.99 per box. Each box contains a total of 200 lozenges. Experts recommend taking two Anatabloc lozenges, three times daily. For optimum results, it should be accompanied by adequate rest and plenty of water.

The most common body pains are associated with inflammation. CRP and interleukins are the chemicals implicated in the inflammation process. Interleukins regulate the activity of white blood cells which among other things, fight infection and are part of the immune response to injury. Inflammation may be good. It can signify that the body's immune system is reacting against foreign objects such as bacteria and viruses. It is also the body's natural response to injury. The damaged tissues activate the immune system to produce chemicals that will send an inflammatory signal to the body's host defenses.

Inflammation may be normal or abnormal. Normal inflammation protects the body from infection, repairs the body after a rigorous workout, and strengthens the bones. Abnormal inflammation is similar to a false alarm. It occurs when the body sends false inflammatory signal, resulting in swelling and pain. If this type of inflammation becomes excessive, or happens continually, it can damage the bones, joints, or blood vessels. Abnormal inflammation can also cause frailty and illness. Further, if inflammation is prolonged, it can spread to other areas previously not affected.

In the instance of an inflammation, the cells of an organ are swollen, and therefore are not functioning properly. When the organs continue to fail, a disease will develop. The anatabine works by entering the cells and inhibiting the activation of the chemical markers of inflammation. This potent ingredient of Anatabloc disables the protein within the cells from entering the nucleus and instigating inflammation.

CRP and the Effects of Anatabine

C-reactive protein, or CRP for short, is a substance produced by the liver. The level of CRP rises when there is inflammation throughout the body. High levels of CRP may be brought about by infections and long-term diseases like cancer, lupus, osteomyelitis, and rheumatoid arthritis. However, a CRP test cannot show where the inflammation is coming from. Other tests will need to be performed to determine the location of the inflammation.

The Flint study entitled Single-blind, Multi-site Trial of the Dietary Supplement Anatabine (RCP006) to Determine the Effects on Peripheral Markers of Inflammation in Patients with Elevated Levels of C-reactive Protein (CRP), focused on the safety, tolerability, dosage, and biological effects of anatabine, the main ingredient in Anatabloc. Subjects were individual with high levels if CRP in their blood. They were observed for three months. Subjects were given placebo on the first month, Anatabloc on the second, and then placebo again on the third. The committee that reviewed the data found that the amount of anatabine administered to the subjects were safe, well-tolerated, and showed clear proof that anatabine has beneficial effects on CRP and the immune system. The Female Mice Study on Thyroid Gland Inflammation

Results of the study on the potential thyroid benefit of anatabine, a key ingredient in Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals dietary supplement Anatabloc, were presented on June 26, 2012 in Houston TX. The study, which was entitled "Anatabine, a Tobacco Alkaloid, Reduces Disease Incidence and Severity in a Mouse Model of Autoimmune Thyroiditis," was performed in the immunopathology laboratory of Dr. Patrizio Caturegli. The subjects were female mice. Half of these mice were placed on anatabine dietary supplementation, and the other half on plain water. All mice were injected with mouse thyroglobulin to induce autoimmune thyroiditis and thyroid gland dysfunction similar to Hashimoto's thyroiditis in humans. It was observed that anatabine dietary supplementation significantly reduced the incidence and severity of experimental autoimmune thyroiditis (the inflammation of the thyroid created by the thyroglobulin). The anatabine treated mice that developed thyroiditis had lower histopathological (lower cellular inflammation) severity of inflammation, lower anti-thyroid antibody levels early in their disease, and lesser declines in serum thyroxine. Lesser declines is good because low levels of serum thyroxine indicate a deficiency in thyroid hormone production, possibly due to inflammation.

Right now we are looking at many testimonials about the effectiveness of Anatabloc. Lab studies are showing that as Anatabloc is taken proteins present in the body when there is unusual inflammation are lower. This indicates a reduction in inflammation. Further studies are underway to demonstrate statistically that Anatabloc works for sure. Many people are claiming that Anatabloc has given them pain relief when nothing else has worked. It is strongly believed that Anatabloc helps the body maintain overall health by allowing the cells to regulate inflammation. Excessive inflammation is blamed for the growth of certain types of diseases such as cancer, thyroiditis, and rheumatoid arthritis. But regular intake of Anatabloc may not have significant effect if a person will not take on a healthy lifestyle. In order to get the most out of this dietary supplement, regular exercise, balanced diet, and adequate sleep should also be practiced. Anatabloc is generally safe, and can be purchased without a prescription. Still, it is best to consult a specialist for specific information about the healthy habits that suit you the most.

My sister experienced great relief from arthritis knee pain. I hope people who have benefitted from Anatabloc will consider signing the petition below to get Anatabloc back on the shelf as a supplement instead of waiting years for FDA approval as a drug (before my sister runs out of her last bottle):
