Anxiety - Ways to help it
Have a support system
Support systems are the people around you that can and will support you. Most people use their friends, family and coworkers as their support systems because they are around those people the most.
I didn't trust my family much before because I was in the teenage years, where parents know nothing, and my friends meant everything. I soon learnt that I was my friends' support system since they were going through stuff I had already known. My parents just wanted everything to do with my well-being.
Parents are honestly the best support system a person can have because, even if they are split, they will always want the best for you and have probably gone through some of the anxieties that you are now living.
It may seem like the weirdest thing to write BUT there is a reason to say exercising helps. Have you ever just felt so much more relaxed after going for a walk?
Scientifically, it is because your brain released hormones while exercising. Now, I'm not saying it will work for everyone because everyone is different but it can work.
A breath of fresh air always helps calm people down.
Accepting one's self.
If you accept who you are and try the best in what you are doing, who says it can't help.
There is nothing wrong saying that you need help from a doctor/psychologist or admitting you have a mental illness. Often letting people know what's going on with you can help.
Nobody is perfect and having flaws is one of the best things a person can have. Owning up to the flaws just makes someone even more beautiful!
