According to wikipedia, Keratoconus is a degenerative disorder of the eye in which structural changes within the cornea cause it to thin and change to more conical shape than its normal gradual curve.

Keratoconus can be overcome and treated in a lengthy way. According to research people with eye disease of Keratoconus has magnesium deficiency. Foods with magnesium are frequently high in potassium and dietary fiber, you can't find food labels with high magnesium content. This suggested that if you have magnesium deficiency it could pathologically affect the mechanisms of the cornea. This report shows there is a possible relationship between magnesium deficiency and keratoconus.
