Apple Cider Vinegar Here's To Your Health!

Updated on February 6, 2014

Sure most of us like this tangy stuff combined with olive oil drizzled over a crisp, fresh, delicious garden salad, but there are many more health benefits linked to apple cider vinegar than most of us even know. And these benefits are both internal and external which makes it so amazing! And yes, while the thought of drinking apple cider vinegar may make you instantly pucker your mouth in disgust (lol) but the truth is, this stuff isn't so bad after all! Apple cider is very rich in potassium, maintains the immune system, helps cure allergies, and works wonderfully when applied to insect bites and sunburn! Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the most popular vinegars on the market because it contains the "mother" which is made of strand-like enzymes that connect to protein molecules with living bacteria and nutrients. Unfortunately clear vinegar is processed and does not contain any of the health benefits that are found in raw apple cider vinegar. Check out some of the benefits below and please watch the video! :)

Internal Benefits:

Very rich in enzymes and potassium

Helps support a healthy immune system

Controls weight

Soothes a dry, irritated throat

High blood pressure

Digestion and bowel function

Use on warts

Removes toxins from body

Cure hiccups

Helps remove toxins from body

Fights against food cravings

Helps urinary tract infections

External Benefits:

Maintain healthy skin

Soothes insect bites or stings

Helps eczema and aging brown spots

Cures allergies

Relieves muscle pain from exercising

How to drink a vinegar cocktail:

add 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar to a glass of water (add sweetener or honey if you like) and enjoy!

Hi HB, thanks for commenting. It's funny that you mentioned strawberries with vinegar, I have a recipe on here "strawberries with balsamic vinegar" and it is amazing. I love it! You should give it a try!! :)

We use a lot of vinegar, apple cider with foods and white for cleaning. I saw a cooking show and the Italian chef made strawberries with vinegar. She said to try it before yucking it. I intend to do that soon.

      Have a great day. HB
