Bharath.adupa: As a lifelong swimmer who learned to swim shortly after walking, I thoroughly enjoyed your hub on the pleasantly healthy and social benefits of exercise in the water. It will be interesting to see how video game companies turn their products into exercises of the mind and body as well as development of personalities!

Thank you, voted up and all categories too,

I enjoyed group aqua aerobics. You can do a lot of exercises that on land are high impact but not in water.

As you've noted here, water aerobics is a fun, healthy way to exercise, especially for seniors because it's easier on the joints than other forms of exercise.

Thanks for the Hub! I always wish that I had more access to pools because I agree that aqua aerobics and swimming have many benefits without destroying your joints. These are good, low-impact workouts that will help build strength and keep you healthy. Great information!
