What makes you Unique?

What makes you better than the other?

  • Do you believe you are Better than Others?

  • Why do you view yourself as better than others?

When you are alone, and insecure your attitude is different toward life.

The different mentality I noticed up with a few acquaintances, surprised me.

  • I observed in the following ways:

There are two sides to these kinds of attitude when people view themselves as above others.

  • People place themselves above others because there is something special about these types of individuals.

In culture, and in intelligence, or from within yourself.

One finds themselves as superior to others from positive attitude.

  • The other mentality is the negative traits one has and sees in themselves.

The people who creates themselves as stupid, negative, and shallow, are the types that don't have such thoughts in their minds.

In such ways one does not seek a way to relate to someone who is stupid, shallow, or selfish.

You don't meet up with the negative people it doesn't seem right for you. The too much high belief of yourself puts you in that position.

Your powerful mind allows you to go your own way.

When individuals keep it in their heads they are better than others these people tend are picky in their social lives.

Your high standards puts you above others.

  • There is no perfect individual!

Your superior behavior stops you from making new friends.

Nobody is perfect for a friend.

Such a view on life won't make many friends.

When I first came to live in Croatia I loved myself in that way. I found myself superior to others.

My experience was different.

The local people treated me that way. I am not that kind of person.

  • I know I am not superior to anyone just raised in a different culture.

I placed myself above others when they treated me with respect.

It is different to when you put yourself out there and let others view you are better than they are in your behavior.

Off-course you want to be superior in a different culture and when with other cultures.

It is normal to find yourself in such a way.

It becomes a problem when you make it an issue as when you hold on to superior behavior.

The attitude you carry around with you shows your character.

  • People are the same everywhere why make you the exception?

You can be positive and show off yourself.

You may find a misunderstanding in your behavior. People don't always observe you when you search inside yourself you are same as others.

You fit in the crowd in your ways you do.

Everybody has values and deserve the same amount of respect as you do.

People, values, cultures differ from that aspect.

  • Why shouldn't you get on with other people?

You are born as everyone else is and just went your own way as you got older.

Your low-self esteem takes you nowhere.

No one is better than the other though cultures hold you to further communication and in being part of society.

The insecure mind makes you in that manner and with a lack of perspectives you are better than a few people.

You are weak and not up to meeting people who you are not like you.

Once you start a social life with those people you realize you just the same.

  • Why are you superior?

You can tell yourself you are intelligent, different, and you are better than others.

The way you project yourself is what makes you that true person.

The down-to-earth person is superior to others in their lives.

  • The idea is not to put yourself in the position as ''Mother Superior'' because you are not that different from others.

I am familiar with people who put themselves above others because of their name titles.

  • Does knowledge make you put others down?

People apply themselves with different behaviors.

Every individual is intelligent and in their own ways and deserves better..

  • Can you be better than others?

In certain ways you can be better than others but you need not hold on to what makes better than others.

You are not better at everything and you will never be.

Other people can do more than you.

People are better than you are or can be worse than you.

People attempt learning in different ways or methods.

You are don't differ from the people you put down.

Ideas are grasped in a different way and sometimes are not grasped all at one time.

Some people are patient in learning and in reaching their goals.

While you are mixed up with tasks given to you others can do it faster.

You could've achieved a lot more if you had his patience.

Be honest with yourself.

Pride gets in the way.

When you let pride get in the way that is how it makes you feel you are better than others.

I observed people who show their arrogant behavior. They are better than other people.

People are not more important than others!

A snobbish types make others aware of their behavior.

When you are too proud of your abilities and over do it in your appearance.

Narcissistic individual is the one who pays attention to themselves. They don't care for others.

I met many people.

I am not superior to others.

My culture is different to others and same as others in different ways. I grew to be me and not someone else.

People tried to compare with me but failed in their attempts.

I am down to earth and approach my daily activities in my way to do different to others.

The way you project yourself to others, where you came from and what you learned from day one, is a lot to cope with from others.

People follow their culture and from there build up their character.

Some individuals overestimate their qualities to others.

You gain popularity from your true self.

  • Are you the one who is better than others?

  • When you put yourself as better than others does that make you happy?

You are better than others in your head.

  • For example:

Relationships are perceived as better than other relationships.

A married couple can have such issues in their marriage. The idea that they are better than other married couples is another superior behavior.

People are happy in their relationships you shouldn't expect every relationship to be the same.

Different cultures want to move on in the same path as others to prove their abilities.

Some cultures underestimate their abilities and want to do the same as others do.

  • For example:

The older individual who lacks memory, eyesight, or who has hearing loss shouldn't be compared with whose who don't experience these issues, compared to some of the younger individuals.

Anyone can adapt to these issues, and age has nothing to do with such behaviors. Different individuals behave as they wish.

  • For example.

People are picked out by their characters

Someone with inappropriate behavior and is dishonest it is obvious one will put you down.

True behaviors are shown in the way you present yourself to your friends and family.

The traits you share shows for the person you become in your own footsteps.

You find yourself to be superior through education.

People make different choices, and it is these choices that puts them down for the rest of their lives or picks them up successfully.

Are you Better than Others?

Better than others

Do you think you are better than others?

rajan jolly, thank you for commenting. Culture keeps us apart from one another and it is sad to see how people treat others from other castes.

I agree we are all better than others in different ways. That is the beauty of life. Being different; human beings with similar feelings irrespective of caste, creed or culture.

God created all as equals yet different to break the monotony of life.

I am definitely not better than others. I love the idea of being better than myself, though! Thanks for another thought provoking article, Devika.

You sum it up well with "people are the same everywhere". We all have the same needs and wants and certainly our feelings are the same. Education certainly helps us find the way and puts us on the right path.

I ain't got no choice. I must strive to be better than myself. Others are great but a comparative analysis is fruitless. My golly jingles there are so many folk that be better than me. But they better get out of the way because I will get there.

Just fun thoughts on a great article, thanks

Hello MsDora thank you. To look inside us first and then to look at others is how one should see life in the first place.

"Others" might observe and compare; to my understanding, no one is "better" than the other. Every one of us is so much different in ways of talents, and purpose to accomplish while on this planet with a unique mission. No one in all universe has been assigned what is given me to perform. So is every other person. My only responsibility is to be best I can be and never stop improving as long as I live. As my Master said, we are only stewards of graciously given talents...

Better in what regard? That is the question. We all have strengths in which we are better than others. Similarly, we all have weaknesses in which others are better than we are. You always make us look inside us, Devika.

Hi Reynold I try to be a better writer myself and sometimes make mistakes too. I don't see myself as a better writer. You too can do well if you try. All my best to you.

Hi Diveka! I see an article as great as this and I know instantly you are a better writer than me! I do understand my strengths and weaknesses and work hard not to let it show too much. I pretty much understand why I feel a certain way about the things you mention and then work hard to be a better person--never perfect of course.
