-Anan Rivera

The ever seeking self

Is no secret that the human heart has this innate urge to become more than walking meat. To capture love, enlightenment, and dreams in a nanosecond, stretching it into eternity. Unconsciously we long to become better than our own perceived self. Just like Shakespeare said:

"We know what we are, but not what we may be"

Is in that sense, that we have the potential to become the heroes in our own story. To transcend into the ultimate masterpiece of creation is to own transformation. Know thy self, be yourself and then go beyond your limitations. Strive to a better you.

Addicted to the new and to renew

Man today is in a constant state of change, voluntary or involuntary. Even in the fast pace of daily living, we have those moments of awareness that arrests our minds to the possibility of change.

Routine is but a safe excuse to postpone our transformation. We long for change but the single thought of breaking with patterns can make or brake our day. Yet, most people say they want to change their lives, reinvent themselves into a better, more inspired version of themselves. Looking inside ourselves we have the opportunity to expand the idea of transcending into new kind of human being. The next step into evolution, a conscious and aware species.

The hero's Journey

" Follow your bliss, and the universe will open door for you where there were only walls..."

-Joseph Campbell

Become the hero in your own story

I have said time and time again, don't wait for someone to rescue you. It's likely that you will be waiting forever. Instead, become your own hero, pick yourself up and write your own story. This can be as easy or as impossible as your mind will allow it to be. Besides, most of our close doors are the product of our restrictive thinking. Is only logical that we also have the keys to open them.

Reinvent your life, bring forth the dreams and desires of your heart. Become the personification of transcendence. To move forward, and up is to leave behind the old skin. To take charge of your own story, leaves no room for regret. Thus you are only following the light of your heart.

Engaging in transformation

We are sparks of life and existence, knowing this, at a cellular level, our mind is not bound by time and space where reality is just a measure in a bar graph. To understand this is to unlock the unlimited realm of possibilities.

To change, to be transformed is to accept our responsibility to evolve into the person we know we can be. But; Do we really know our limit? DO we really know how far we can evolve, mentally, spiritually?

There is no better time to do this than today. Technology and communication has opened the doors of transformation. It has made the impossible ,attainable. Just like the myth of Icaro where the timeless urge to escape through flight, has evolved into buying a ticket and boarding a metal bird. The impossible ideas of old have changed the course of history over and over again.

To be open and engaged in transforming yourself and the world around you, pushes the limits of creation. Artists can see the world in million different ways, create a snapshot of beauty in their work, but struggle with addiction and self destructive behavior. Why! Simple, we don't see ourselves as works of art. A painting or a novel could take years to be completed, but human beings want trans formative change in 28 days. We feel limited and condensed within ourselves. The skin bag bias, as some call it. We tend to constrict ourselves to conform and accept the notion of static, passive, beings. As an ever evolving being, we are capable of re inventing what it is to be human.

Creating a new reality

At one point, the world as we know it today only existed in the realm of possibilities. All of of those things that we know and interact with, were only an idea, a dream less than a hundred years ago. This proves that creating a new reality is only one step from dreaming the impossible. My father says;

-" Today I enjoy the world of technology and trans formative experiences because someone decided to bring to life science fiction. Yes, I have a cellphone in my pocket because a child watched Star Trek. So what else can we do within our own minds and body? The possibilities are infinite."

Pain,or just laziness "prevents" self insight. Then again, it only takes a broken heart to know what we really are made off. So, the transparency of the soul can be revealed in any circumstance. So what does that mean? Simple, it does not matter where are you right now, you are one step away from becoming your own hero and an inspiration to those around you.
