Binaural beats - What are they?

Benefits of Binaural Beats Meditation and Alpha waves

Binaural beats meditation is a new wave that is catching the busy and tired generation. Now, we don't need to be a monk, sitting on high mountains for years to achieve deep meditative states like monks. Binaural Beats is a creative way to go into deep meditative states at alpha waves level using a set of headphone and binaural beats entertainment music. We can be sitting in a crowded bus with eyes closed during a long commute and receive all the benefits of deep meditation.

Binaural beats is a simple method of creating different frequencies into each ear. It causes the brain to participate and create a third frequency, which is the difference of two frequencies heard in different ears. For instance, during the binaural beats, the frequency heard in left ear is 448Hz and the frequency heard in right ear is 440Hz. Then, the brain creates a third frequency of the difference of two frequencies, that is 8Hz, in this case. This 8Hz is frequency of alpha brain waves which puts our brain into deep meditation and relaxation state.

Alpha brain waves are associated with creativity, relaxation and deep inner consciousness. They tend to have a frequency range between 7 to 14 Hz and achieving this state is very good for mental, physical and emotional health.

Here, is a short summary of all the benefits of Binaural Beats Meditation and entering Alpha waves state:

1. Binaural beats meditation helps to reduce stress and depression. With a daily practice of binaural beats meditation for half an hour, there is a significant increase in overall well being and happiness of an individual. When students are regularly put in alpha waves state of mind, their memory and mental performance improves significantly. Research in this field shows that learning power improves by as much as 5 to 30 times, by daily listening of binaural beats.

3. Binaural beats meditation helps in Addiction Recovery. Addictions can be of substance like alcohol, smoking, drugs or harmful behavior like anger, negativity, pessimism. Such addictions can be broken by simple listening to binaural beats regularly. The results may vary from person to person. With strong commitment and regular practice of binaural beat meditation, the probability of leaving addictions is higher.

4. Binaural beats help in positive personal transformation. Binaural beats help to calm down and release good feeling hormones in the body. We have easy access to inner guidance as we can tune in to alpha states frequently. Inner guidance helps us to take good decisions and make positive changes in our personality and behavior. Our bad situations may began to change for good as we are guided by a higher power and life is tuned and connected to the universe.

Binaural beats meditation and achieving alpha state is very good for our mental, emotional and physical health. When we are positive, we become magnets of wealth and we tend to attract finance abundance in our lives too. Hence, when we take care of our mental and emotional health, financial abundance tends to follow.
