Meditation CD's

I am a huge believer in meditation and meditate daily. For me meditation gives me a chance to quiet my mind and hear what my soul wants me to know. I believe that I have all the answers within me, but sometimes life gets in the way and I loose my focus. Meditation helps to keep me focused on my true purpose.

I also meditate because it helps to clear out all the chatter that is going on in my brain. It helps to give my brain a rest. Think about it. All day long their are noises around us. And lots of technology runny like cell phones, ipods, televisions, bar horns. Etc. Silence and quiet is very soothing.

I have a very busy and noisy house which I love! I have been blessed. But with a husband, My Mom living with us and 3 teenagers plus and number of their friends here it is often difficult to find a quiet spot to meditate. So I find a quiet place when I can, put on my headsets and listen to my favorite meditation cd.

Here are some of the best Meditation CD's. And on this page are some of my meditation cd's that I listen to.

The Types of Meditations I enjoy.

There are 3 different types of meditation Cd's that I like to listen to. The first is simply relaxation music with sounds of the outdoors like the ocean or birds. I also like to listen to guided meditations, and I also enjoy meditation Cd's that you listen to while you sleep otherwise known as brain wave therapy.

Why I Meditate

I have two huge reasons why I meditate. The first one is because it relaxes me and helps me to releave stress. It calms me and helps to keep me calm all day long.

The other reason is Self Awareness. Meditation helps me to know what is really important. I also find that it helps me to clear out all the negativity and chatter in my brain so I can listen to my soul and know what I really need to do. All of the answers are within you. The problem is that we often have so much chatter going on inside, we can not hear. When we slow down the chatter, we have an incredible knowing.

This is why I meditate. So that I can know, what I need to know.

I listen to this meditation daily when I go to sleep. It is one of the few meditations that is designed to be listened to while sleeping. What it does is help to change your belief patterns. It also helps to remove a lot of negative thoughts that like to creep in before going to bed. The thing that I like best about this meditation is all you have to do is go to sleep. It is so relaxing. But best of all, I wake up feeling energized and wonderful.

Tip: For Best results listen with a headset.

I was very sceptical when I first listened to this series and the first few meditations I was able to regress to my childhood. Now I have visited a few of my past lives. It is really and incredible and loving experience. Even the sceptics should check it out. You may be surprised.

Past Lives Future Healing

I had to share this book by Sylvia Brown because it really made sense to me and helped clear up a lot of personal issues that I was having. In the audio format Sylvia offers a guided meditation that helps you to visit a past life. I know it sounds crazy but I got to tell you it worked for me and changed my life. I have actually visited a few past lives and learning about those, help me put my life now into real perspective.

If you are even just a tiny bit interested in reincarnation and are curious about your past lives your will really love this book. I highly recommend it.

      Thanks for the suggestions. It is always nice to know what other people prefer when you may be looking for something and I have not used much music to meditate, but I will try it and see how it goes.

      I start every single day with a few minutes of meditation and often receive my inspiration or ideas about what I need to do most that day. For a creative person with a million ideas and projects going on all the time, that's a big help!

      I started out a long time ago with TM but have since let it evolve. Sometimes I use a relaxation CD.

      Another tip.. Pick a Good Location. It is vital to find quiet place to meditate. If your space is limited, try searching for an area that is not too cluttered. If youre unable to find a place that is absolutely quiet, you can also play some music to help you meditate better. But remember, choose music that is soft and soothing. It should not hamper your meditation in any way.

      I really think that meditation would help to relieve some of the stress in my life -- BUT how to find the time? Better to meditate in the morning, mid-day or at night?

      Great lens Wendy! I love to meditate but never seem to get the time - I want to start meditating daily and will check out some of these CDs. My current favourite to use is Chakra Clearing: A Morning and Evening Meditation to Awaken Your Spiritual Power by Doreen Virtue. Very calming!
