      Many moons ago I was told that sour cherry juice...unsweetened was the best antidote for gout...concentrated, unsweetened and plentiful...eating the cherry really doesn't's the juice inside that kicks the uric acid out. A Minnesota cure from the early 90s--at least, that's when I heard about it.
